Video Games Kinda of urgent (PS3 Related)
The PS3 doesn't require a Digital TV right? I just needed to make sure before I buy mine this weekend.

If it does, could you suggest the best brand to go for for a cheap price?

It comes with a cable with 6 prongs; you can use the Red/Yellow/White for standard definition TV, or the Red/Green/Blue - White/Red 5 prong combo for Composite video. HDMI cable typically sold seperately.

It also uses the same adapter as a PS2 for ports in back, so you can always recycle your old PS2 one.

PS3's Require eather a AV ports (the yellow red white ports in the back) or HD-Composit (Red green yellow red white ports in the back) digital or analog doesn't really play a factor

Well... to be fair I once wired a PS3 through a VCR to play on a really old tv, so I mean there are ways around it without having to buy a brand new tv.

Be aware that some of the games are unplayable on non-HD TVs (Disgaea 3 ). Shy away from games with lots of un-voiced text and menus(Like RPGs).

Works fine on my SD TV after I updated it. (Or at least the quality drops don't really bother me)

I already got my PS3 and I'm having no trouble with it or the TV.

Besides I could always hook it up to one of my parents HD LCDs when they aren't using them.
