I thought it would fun to see who the Forum community thought had the best avatars so:

Nominate the one member who you think has the Overall Best; Funniest; and Most Original Avatars. When all of the nominations are in... we vote!

Overall Best: Shiney's Copter Hat owns all avatars. If only it was animated...
Funniest: Nosferatu's "Case of the Monday's" avatar is hilarious.
Most Original: C-Dog's gyro is so cool, but be careful cause if you watch it too long it sucks away your soul!

Okay, let me see here.

Overall Best: Sykronized's avatars. The most recent one is creepy and I really like creepy.
Funniest: Sofa King Lazy's avatar. Though he/she doesn't post much anymore I still chuckle when I see it.
Most Original: I gotta agree with you on C-Dog, his animated avs are cool and it looks like he spends alot of time on them.

I've seen that triangular engine avatar before so I don't know if he animated it but it is cool nevertheless.

zetheos's is pretty cool

Wolf99x's gets my vote for the best avatar though. it kicks ass.

Overall Best: Light's Warrior, by FAR. Look at it if you can, right now. It's so fuckin cool! Wonder if he made it himself.

Funniest: Mashirosen's Lex Luthor (I believe?) white-era pic.

Most Original: I'm going with Light's Warrior, again, never seen anything like that, at least in gif format. I saved that motherfucker.

Funniest: Sofa king lazy. Honerable mention goes to the guy who had the "No Ninja's" avatar.

Overall best: I want to nominate my own, but I don't know if I can. If not, then I nominate Shiney's old "I have the power" avatar.

Most Original: Sky Warrior Bob.

I must nominate my own, but not the one I have now. I nominate the avatar to wich I'm gonna change now.

As for other peoples avatars...Nothing really comes to mind...It's right now when I should remember a few, none come to mind...Well...Flarecobra's avatars are always funny...Right now i can't remember others...

Most Original: C-dogs grinding wheels (even if I somehow forgot how to spell wheel for a sec. No, I'm not kidding), I don't think I've seen someone with anything close to his avatars.
