And now something from me: He's presence stops my breath He is here He is death Now it's all become clear He's going to take me I am going to die I will sieze(?) to be So I say to you: Good bye...

thanks alot Osterbaum! I didn't mean any real disrespect to your nations armed forces, I was just having trouble coming up with funny rhymes. I'm glad you liked it.
those two love poems reminded me that I haven't written one is quite a while, and I don't think I will for some time. but here's something along the same lines. She sits alone, inside her heart that sacred home of loving trust never will I know its embrace for I am in her mind, erased I am that spark of imagination a moments fancy unrefined I am not real, a fantasy the same as she's for me who can know anothers thoughts? and how to pry the doors of love once before with words, too tough but words will never tell enough alone and silent, passions cooled I swore I'd never give it up now this love, but the medium routed towards such painful tedium I'll let her go from in my head I never held her elsewhere in jagged verse I've bled it dry so many tears I've left to cry Last edited by Zoamelgustar; 10-07-2004 at 09:50 AM. |

Chained to the past, the bitter regret
times of my life I would rather forget But they haunt me still, this long past gone clouds now hang here where the sun once shone Blackened and enraged, filled with doubt things which had happened, I'd try to figure out no peace in my head, no release in my heart I've filled my duties, and I'll gladly take part but allow me to remember, and then to move along with a smile on my face and in my heart a song I refuse to back down and give in to hate but if I can't forget now, it will be too late I'll shield off the rain, until comes the calm Then plant new life seeds, from my renewed palm.

Wasted Life
A wasted life of today may yet be remade if you act without delay a wasted life may yet be saved There is no blame to be placed for that which has come to pass The only course of action presented most be followed enmass Sorrows path must not be taken for its leads into the darkest pit Faith must be held unshaken and one must never quit. |

hey Sithdarth, let me ask you something. Poetry kind of grows on you, doesn't it?
and now I will try my hand at a dedication to Lycanthrope, because he's such a cool guy err, werebeast, or whatever. half beast cultured and upright a gentlemen yet not uptight his form may shift or alter his will it shall not falter musician monk or swordy bard un-effete, he's downright hard wounds of flesh he'll just ignore weakness, what a heart is for intellect and savage force and wit to match, but of course in the rain hes kind of stinky yet he remains, beloved puppy |

Yep it does hence two in one day and this one is quite a departure from my other style as well as being a bit longer.
Crystal blue hangs overhead with velvet green underneath What was once to be said has been lost to a silent thief This silent thief called beauty had wrought its greaterest wonder Their is no greater duty then tearing a cold hear asunder The depthless void above so perfect and so clean it seems to define love Such a sight has never been seen If I was to fall right now into that depthless enternity With great power to endow I am filled with absolute certainty A sense of peace now found a felling that I've always missed My thoughts now wax profound for into bliss I have slipped. |

This one is called 'Helpless'
Words come and flow past my ears I hear, I listen, and I nod For what else can I do? He talks faster now As if desperately trying To throw off this burden The sounds hurt since For once in my life I cannot answer Then the tears come In droves, in storms I hold him and sigh He is hesitant now Darker, quieter, subdued The flame not out, but small For I wonder What can bring The life back in his eyes? It seems all I can do Is hold him, listen to him And I feel for him. |
