What defenses are there against being called the SK because I did something stupid, besides pointing out that I was just doing something stupid?

ok, its been 24 hours and no posts. I just feel like I should make mention of this. An inactive town is a bad town and leads to an evil role win. And to get the ball rolling a little more.

FOS: SILLY KITTY. I would think that if she didn't want to get a ball rolling onto Mesden and help someone get lynched she would have taken her vote off of Mesden. Not redirect it necessarily, just an unvote. Now she is still contributing to Mesden's MIRACULOUS 2 votes, the other comming from IC. Neither of which is gonna Mesden get lynched...yet

FOS: IC For telling mesden to quit her bitchin! That bitchin found alot of mafiates. I don't want the bitchin to stop.

FOS: ECURT and Garud For taking thier votes on eachother so lightly. Although, It is nice to see people finally playing this game not caring if they look suspicious or not.

It was stupid. And I do think that some of the people who voted for me early on where trying to star a bandwagon (Thus being mafia). That makes as much sense as every other reason to vote so far (If not more).

So voting for someone blatantly scummy acting is scummy? You want a circular argument? That's the best this amounts to.

Add in the fact it's day one and reasons are scarce and it's apparent why the vote for you hit off.

Honsestly, I didn't see IHMN doing anything wrong. But then I realised that on the first day, very few people do things wrong, and we have to go for someone to lynch. IHMN made a joke badly, and refused to defend himself. Ok, I don't agree with the not defending himself part, but is it really enough to get himself lynched? On any other day, no. The first day though? Is it really all that special? Not normaly, but this game has alot of experienced played who aren't really all that likely to slip up. And we have a deadline. if we don't kill anyone then the evil's get another night to roam free. And thats bad for us townies. Well duh.
I'd just point out that in the last mafia game I played with IHMN, he was the vig. Anyone who played that game will remember his stance on killing randomly. He was basicaly the SK, but with a different name. And this is the sort of thing I'd expect from someone with his play style. And come on, it was a joke. I mean seriously, this barely anything radar worthy. He was kidding people. If it was possible to vote like that, the PO would just annonce an inocent townie when they found one and be done with it. The people that are pushing for this lynch are looking kinda scummy.
So, basicaly, IHMN shouldn't be being lynched, but he is, and it's probably to late to change that. But fair enough, first day, and someones got to go. I'll accept this is all we have to go on. 1 in 3 chance he'll be scum.0 His horrendous refusal to defend himself doesn't really bode well for him either. But I'm watching you.

See, here's the conundrum that is mafia.

Should you vote, you'd be accused of a bandwagon. No matter what role he is, you get accused. If he's mafia, you would be just mafia trying to not look suspicious. If he's townie, you could be mafia trying to not look suspicious.

If he's a townie, you're accused of being a mafia if you vote, since you bandwagon'd to get rid of a townie. If you don't vote then you're mafia trying not to get involved in the townie snowballing.

Is he's Serial Killer, the same logic applies for a townie. If he's cult, the same logic applies for Mafia. If he's a town role, same logic applies for townie.

Honestly, it's a lot of circular arguing, but I think you're mainly just hesitant to vote because it always leads in a bad direction to join at the last minute. But not voting makes it worse. So now you're trying to state why you're not getting involved in the first lynch (It's apparent it is going to be as such) which that in itself seems scummy.

You're caught in a dilemma right now and this seems like the least bad thing, right?



This was me breaking down the late joiners to the lynching section. Honestly, people who don't get in fast always seem in the bad light. HMAN is the BEST we've got and no one else is going to really say against it, because it's not their head on the chopping block. Townie's first priority is Numero Uno in this game because they can't be SURE that someone else is a townie, so it's better them lynched than not.

Then comes the shock as he might be a town role. This is the only negative effects the town roles have on the townies, aside from a bad vig hit or the BG protecting scum. This is the most blatant, atleast.
