So apparently this is like Capcom vs Anime. Tatsunoko Productions have produced such animes as Speed Racer, Gatchaman (that dude with the bird helmet) and had some part in Evanglion (but they don't own it).

So this is like MVC3 in spirit I suppose.

Sweet! I loved MvC2, and even if its a different cast, if ti has the same over the top gameplay and ionsane specials, Im sold.

What system is it for? PS and I'm sold!

But for the American release, they're going to have to sift through about 50 translations of Gatchaman to figure out what names to use for the team. XD

Well in one of the screenshots Chunners is doing a massive fuck-off Kikosho or something so it looks like the insame specials are here.

System is Arcade atm, to be released later on in 2008.

Also it was confirmed by Neogaffers that this is 2.5D, not completely 2D. If it's PS3 it'll be region free at least.

If the Wiki is to be believed Tatsunoko did at least work on Evanglion. You never know, Gainax might let them use it.

It could come out. All those shows were released at one point or another. I doubt this would be Wii, but a PS3 and 360 port are inevitable.
