Are the cutscenes drawn by the same guy who did Dragonball Z and whatnot? Cuz Chrono looked like Goku or basically any other DBZ character.

Yes, the guy who did DBZ's art also did Chrono Trigger's characters, even before the animations on the PSX version. He also did Blue Dragon's characters I think.

You mean Akira Toriyama, the artist behind Dragon Ball/Z and the Dragon Quest Series?

and yes, on more then one occasion have I picked out who is who between CT and DBZ.

So they did remove Frog's olde english style of speaking.

double edit: I also cannot believe that they would use the PSX animated cutscenes for this game. It doesn't seem right. I mean I know the DS can pull it off but it still feels tacked on.

Mind you if there are little to know load times, then I'll be happy.

Chrono Trigger: super effective?

Not that it doesn't look well-implemented, or that CC didn't have a monster arena, but I swear if anyone finds a carrot in here, Squeeninx is gonna burn from its fanbase.
