Looks like a crusaider. But that's ok. You could be a defecter or a heretic like me!
I'd also reccomend something besides a spear. A halberd or a naginata or such (naginata those are cooler trust me). Also I think you should just develop your powers on you own. Sucking life force is ok for a cat dude but for a human?

What I'm thinkin' must be WAY different from what you guys are thinkin'. I'm thinking a cross between the FFT Lancer and FFT:A dragoon. There is no life sucking involved..I think...
IHMN: Loosen up, will ya? I COULD use Thumpman, after all. Which would not bode well to anyone that hates boombox-totin' bling-bling superheroes...although I meant that mostly as a joke in the first place EDIT: Got the pic off of google, which means it might be off of D2...

That would be the enchanted warhammer of Thor (of Norse Mythology), I believe. REEAALLY powerful, as witnessed in Marvel's Avengers comic books (as well as in history textbooks everywhere).

Mollijnir?!!! The hammer of thor????? You're frickin' nuts man no way!
Now that I'm done ranting. Why would you need to bring up Mollijnir? It's kind of a non-sequitor given the current situation unless your mage is ultra beef too. Thor did shiz by throwing his hammer.

He brought it up because he was suggesting that Thor can use his hammer to use magic, and that would be how he would use his maul.
