Is that because the number of them is at 1 for each or...what? The lack of food tip you off (lack of them being there in the inventory at all)?

I mean I don't see any evidence...but the lack of evidence might be the evidence itself...did you start with a noticeable amount of food on the character and now there's a lot less?

Well, just the fact that I WoE on his character constantly(every WoE when he isn't on) and his build calls for food. And after each WoE he logs on with 4 or so less food then he had before.

This is why I like building my builds around +3 food. It's not as annoying to lose your food, and works effectively enough that you can win regularly enough.
