FoS: Moogle

I think you're trying to keep a scumbuddy alive and that the vote on you was a distance tactic. The track record shows that the vig has made horrible decisions so far this game, and you want to trust him to kill Secretskull? tomorrow? Plus, just by making the statements about him not living, you've guaranteed his life by giving him immunity. The mafia wouldn't want to touch him because he's a great lynch candidate and the vig's already set up to take him, and the vig wouldn't want to touch him because he's a great lynch candidate and possibly mason.

Very smooth Moogle, very smooth. You managed to throw suspicion on me and keep your hands clean. "Not going to bother" indeed. Why should you vote for me when the rest of the town is willing? The way you keep piling up on the minor tells: Lamenting the loss of the PO, egging people towards lynches; each of them only mildly scummy, but altogether?

Yes, I did essentially pull the Mason Traitor theory out of my ass as you said so. It made sense to me, and was consistent with the "clue" in the death post. It isn't a huge stretch of imagination really.

Humor me then secretskull, what "clue" could you possibly have pulled from Fenris's death post that alluded to him being a Mason Traitor/Mafiate?

Seriously? There's nothing here. And I do believe you're just lying again about you making up stuff. To me it's a 50/50 shot of you being mafia or mason (I don't buy it that you're making this up) and no matter which one you are you'll get killed off by the other group. I'd rather go after someone else and find other leads than lynch someone that will end up dead by the end of the next day anyway. It's not smooth secretskull I'm just doing the logical thing here.

I believe I did explain. Apparat Organ Quartet. That was the hint. I started with some suspicions based on the words of Rokrin, and a quick look into the band's history removed my doubt.

No, it's too illogical. Fenris was implicating Rokrin for defending him, and Rokrin happened to be part of a masonry, there is no inherent connection between Fenris and Rokrin, and the Organ quartet is an EXTREMELY weak link that wouldn't have pointed anyone in that direction unless they were working backwards and knew outside information.

Moogle, you're scumming hard. 1) the masons can't kill, 2) the mafia have the VERY enticing option of leaving Secretskull alive, meaning town HAS to lynch, 3) The vig is unreliable and may be killed before he gets to react, and 4) It's nightless mafia, meaning there is no reason to put it off to tomrrow when we have a guaranteed scum already here.

Yes. I was working backwards. I suspected Fenris of being the mason traitor, and worked backwards from there. I tried to find a link, and lo' and behold, there it was. The fact that I didn't explain it from the first isn't a slip, I assumed every at least suspected the same thing.

I just can't see anyone trying to defend another player like that without some kind of basis. Can you offer me another reason for Rokrin's behavior? If you can offer me some good reasoning, I'll vote for myself.

We both can agree that Fenris being mason in hindsight makes logical sense, but only knowing the final result. I'm quite impressed with the judo you're demonstrating in that post; making your case contingent on proving that it's not logical for Fenris to be a mason traitor, when that's not what this case is about. This case is about you knowing this without solid proof. You've even admitted that you were working backwards. There is a low precedent for mason traitors in our mafia games, and it's entirely possible Rokrin was masoned to a broken-mason-PO that investigated Fenris and thought he was clean, or that Rokrin was working off some bad logic and supposing that Zilla 1 wasn't actually onto something when she died.

I just want to understand what your getting at here. You agree that, in hindsight, it makes sense that Fenris is a mason. There has been no new information since the point where I mentioned my suspicions. We all knew the final result when I made my "slip". If I'm reading this correctly, there is no reason to say that I have done something wrong.

There is a low amount of them, but it has happened before. I can't ignore what seems like the classic case of Mason Traitorship now can I?

It is possible that he didn't believe in the Zilla theory, but it would leave one thing unexplained. Why did he refuse to vote after Fenris commended the Vig for killing Zilla? I simply can't see this happening.

This is an angle I had not considered. It doesn't make any more assumptions then I did. I suppose I must concede in this case. As I said I would do: Vote: secretskull

I'm still not mafia though.

There are three people posting on this page, and one of them only has one post. This development is most unwelcome!

While nothing terribly exciting is going on, you hear a vaguely Bobcat Goldwaith-esque squeal muffled by some haunting chords. Investigating the aftermath, all you can find is a goose dress and a drycleaning ticket made out to bananarama, the Serial Killer. No more will you be terrified by his fashion sense, incomprehensible appeal, and killing of innocents.
