Hm, it occurs to me. Maybe Mike should go with team 2 and Isaac with team 1. Lola's team seems to be lacking in dragon-type moves aside from Renny, while team 1 has Impact and Pierce.

AB, could it be possible if I could request Shaymin? I know it's legendary, but stat wise, it's similar to all the psuedo legendaries, and it does rather fit the cuteness theme! ^^

Also, Renny has two pokemons with dragon moves. And one of them has a special effect of FLINCHING ALL FOES 40% of the time. ^^ That's a tactic I wish I had last battle, but I didn't know we would be facing such numbers.

Rachel will also be using five. Actually, as an inexperienced trainer, she should be restricted to four until she gets used to battling. Shannon using five is more or less part of her probation, to keep her in line. Kinda like "we have your Shiftry so no funny business."

Yes, trainers can change Pok�mon between missions. I mean, it's kinda silly that a trainer would only have six, right?

And I suppose you can request Shaymin. It does seem kind of more like a Pok�mon for showing off than battling.

Now I'm going to work, and I don't wanna hear a peep out of any of you until I return!

But it's Twister. Quad-damage or no, it's still gonna suck. And Bulbapedia says it's 20% chance.

Funny to note it's also one of the smallest pokemons possible to get in the game. ^^ Renny proportioned!

And you're not reading up on Togekiss. Togekiss/Shaymin ability is Serene Grace, which doubles the chances of any side effects to happen. Thunderbolt for example would have 60% chance to paralyze instead of 30%. Twister would do 40% chance of flinching just like how Togekiss can use Air Slash to have a 60% of flinching a foe.

Beside, a move that can hit all foes and make them stop what they are doing for the turn while everyone gets a free hit is not only great offensively, but also defensively since less successful hits means less healing meaning everyone can work hard for longer (less items used as well and less downtime).
To make it better, Togekiss still has Metronome item. Twister gets more powerful each time it is used in a row. ^^

Also... New moveset! (Which rules of mimic are we using? The first one is easier to implement and less work involved.)

Togekiss (Male) *Serene Grace* (Air Slash has 60% chance of flinching hit foe and Twister has 40% chance of flinching ALL FOES.)

Waaaaait a minute. You said trainer's pokemon get the Focus ability. You mean it's an actual ability, and we have to give up one of our abilities in order to have sweet single-targetted multi-target moves?

I would dislike that for sure, although I think AB meant for that to be an additional bonus. We can find out when he comes back, but he ruled it as a "result of pokemon/trainer relationship", which doesn't exactly remove the physical traits inherent with a pokemon.

If it is an actual ability, is it always on? Or do we get to choose when to activate it? Like, say, if Renny's Togekiss has it and wants to use Twister on everything.

Oh, right, I forgot about your 5th pokemon. ^^; Was focusing on your new choice, the Metagross.

Also, the main use of Focus would be with Lava Plume, Earthquake, Discharge and other such moves, allowing them to hit a single foe without hitting an ally. ^^;

So I'll be mainly be using it with Swampert. :3
