I would point out that Matt has thus far been rather harmless to you and that he has a fairly strong sense of good and evil. Acting on such a course may cause him to turn against you
You have been warned good sirs....muahahaha. |

That would be more threatening if you had already shown yourself to be manipulative. The most Matt's done so far is mention that "some team members are less trustworthy than others", or something along those lines, which seems to be old news.

Has there been reason to be? I've found little for him to nudge the team towards or against as most talk has been objective based.

Fair enough.
The next mission'll be a free-for-all, I think, you'll have your opportunity to prove your political skills then. |

I wonder if I'll take the opportunity.

Y'know, I think I'll take the title of "killjoy". Because it seems like I'm the only one who takes offense to balancing issues.
Like, you know, when blizzard strikes 7 targets. Like the last time Lola used it. Hadn't we set up a rule where an multi-target attacks only hit two enemy targets? It's bullshit otherwise. And yes, I know that it's technically impossible to be overpowered, because AB'll nerf anything that he doesn't like, but humor me. Please. |

It doesn't overly bother me that you bring up balance issues. It shows you care about the RP which is hardly something I can fault you for.
My issue with Blizzard is that it doesn't make much sense that I can say "Oh yeah I create a raging ice storm that hits all of you while my ally and I are warm and cozy." |

Geez, I really can't read all that...except until tomorrow night. But I will post about what I think I read and will mention some things that will occur in the not-too-distant future. Anyways, what I put in this post is probably subject to change, but I can't currently see a reason for it to change.
Honestly, if you'll stay with the RP, I've no current problems with player character sidequests. Because there's enough players and certainly enough NPCs, there's the easy possibility of multiple sidequests at once, at least two but possibly even three. But I intend to keep it at two since that'd increase my workload, which usually doubles when I leave you guys to think about the RP and where it can go in the future. The powered mech armor, which is now officially named Rapid Deployable Powered Hardsuit or RDPH, is a lot like a Pokébrid's Paradigm Shift. You get it for several turns, it's more awesome than a Slayers normal loadout, and when the internal battery runs low, the Slayer will be safely autoejected (he or she will be warned of this) and the suit will retreat to recharge, rearm, and return when the Slayer needs it next. If you go full demon, which will require you having some fun with Fujiko (a huge demonic boss monster fight should be expected), that's like half demon plus another Paradigm Shift, giving the Demonic Slayer two different Paradigm Shifts without even having Pokémon DNA. If you truely intend to go full demon, I may need an idea of where you want your powers centered. Actually, that should go for all people who truely want demonic powers of any level. You want fire? You want ice? You want scythes? Lamp oil? Rope? Bombs? You want it? It's yours, my friend, as long as you have enough Rupees. ...Eh, sorry about that Link CDi thing. I couldn't resist. Anywho... There're are other possible major upgrades besides demonic rituals, like legendary Pokémon. Feel like you'd rather do something different? Run it by me. Faynoc is a mad scientist turned religious hysteric. He won't work with anyone because he believes he's some kind of chosen one given a holy crusade to resurrect the era of Ruin Pokémon, which he believes to be divine creatures. Think you'll get him to help you any? Your next mission will involve you fighting him and a lot of his Pokébrid cultists. He's pretty much beyond deal-making and bribery. Religious loons usually are. In fact, about the only NPCs you could make deals with for some kind of common goal are some of the Kimonos. Tsubasa and Shizuka are above it, but you could convince the naive Chizuru, the easy-to-please Mika, the lusty Rio, the backstabbing Fujiko, the machine nut Kiyomi, and the battle-loving Kirie to work with you. Let's just hope you've brushed up on your diplomacy. Becoming an angel is unfortunately beyond possibility. Kirie doesn't know why she is one, and she's very likely the only angel in the crossover netherworld. ----- To put it bluntly, it's difficult to remember all I've skimmed through on your posts. A good summary from one of you kind souls couldn't hurt, but otherwise I'll need tomorrow night to read it all and consider your ideas and requests. Anyways, I'll get to posting now while watching hentai. Because I'm a multitasker! EDIT 1: Here's a general rundown of what I have planned for the future. It's not everything as I'll try not to spoil too much. Mission 3: Calm Down the Riot! ~ An unauthorizied religious gathering of a large scale has turned violent in Gregmore Square. Lots of Pokébrids and non-trainer rioters. Mission 4: Show Your Stuff In the Arena! ~ Time for some R&R after all the heavy fighting...naw, scratch that! Time for some PvP! Mission 5: Life's a Beach! ~ Okay, now it's really time for some R&R. Some old friends return and you gain a new Snagger! Mayhem ensues before you can really enjoy the views, though. Mission 6: Fainas In Lockdown! ~ A situation occurs that has the whole metropolis running and hiding. How can we defeat the enemy when we can't even leave the agency? Mission 7: Finally! The Origin of Pokémon! ~ It's a tense situation at some very big ruins. Your enemies? The Kimonos. And they won't let their comraderie with you get between them and keeping you out. Summary man! To the rescue!
You seem to have a pretty good idea of what's happened. Each character should get a sidequest, tied in to their back-story or personality, which'll be of personal importance to them, develop them as a character and result in them getting a dual-class (or some other, equal) upgrade. Characters can choose the general scheme and goals of their sidequests, with some limitations (like no Chiruzu for Renny), though you'll be responsible for planning everything, what enemies they'll fight, and so on. This is still in the suggestion phase, up till now only me and Drac have had serious input. If anyone else has problems, speak within the next 72 hours, or forever hold your silence! Or don't, whichever you prefer. We've already worked out the initial plan for both Pierce's and my sidequest. (Note that I'm not sure if this is what Pierce wants, I think he's ok with it, but you should definetly get his input) For Pierce's, he'll find out that all the criminal work he's done has indirectly harmed hundreds of both humans and pokemon (I suggested that he'd have contributed to the construction of an illegal pokebrid lab, which tortured hundreds in an attempt to create more powerful pokebrids, this could be run by Faynoc), he gets pissed, tries to kick ass and make things right, fails miserably, calls us in, we save the day. Mine'd be the last sidequest we do, cause it'd involve everyone getting getting a second upgrade (people could either go semi-demonic, or perhaps get some other, again, equally powerful upgrade, maybe a certain super-powered pokemon found only in the netherworld). What I'm imagining is that, after a series of adventures and battles against evil, the kimonos trust us enough to invite us to the Netherworld and offer all of us the chance to become semi-demonic. Everyone gets an upgrade of some kind (for everyone except Impact this'll be a second upgrade, I wasn't planning to have Impact get an updgrade before that), then, when we're done, Impact wants more, so it's at this point that the Impact-focused part of the sidequest really starts, everything up to that quest (that is, exploring the Netherworld, growing more powerful, and so on) would have been more a general sidequest. Anyway, they go on a quest to help Impact get full demonic power, Impact outlines his ideas about PHS to justify his desire to go full-demon, they fight the grey Kimono, Impact gets his full demon upgrade, everybody's happy. If you think Impact can't survive until then without an upgrade, Impact could use the RDPH until he gets the demonic stuff, and then abstains from it. Anyway, that's pretty much what we spent several pages discussing. That, and we discussed how Charlotte could possibly get laid. It involved Narcham. And we plotted to torture Matt, until he reveals his backstory. Quote:
