Yeah. I wish someone had mentioned it earlier. That's okay though, I will just change it in every page from now on when Ith and Erin are speaking.

I will still keep it so they have their own speaking style though. It will just be in two different fonts so readers can tell instantly (like has been suggested).

It still bugs me that I didn't think of that right away. I really should have. :P

Erin's lines should all be in Fraktur. You know, heavy germanic writing. It'd probably be really hard to read but screw that.

I've actually decided to change all of Ith's lines to "Evil Genius" with a slight fade to it so it looks grey instead of black. Hopefully that will work.

Ith isn't exactly "evil" (though I guess that's open to interpretation), but I think the font looks different enough from what I normally use to be able to tell it apart.

The only thing I'm worried about is it being grey and not black. I'm worried it won't show up clearly when the pages are reduced in size for posting. I might go back and just have it italicized instead and see if that helps (EDIT: Except I just realized it doesn't have an italics option, so I guess I'll just have to think of something else).

It's gonna be stupid if I put a whole new font in and it doesn't look different enough for people to tell. So I want to be sure it's as clear as possible!

In the past, I've personally used many fonts on Blambot. They have some great stuff there, many of which are free for the general public. Ith strikes me as a "straightjacket," kind of girl, even if for nothing else but her goth kinda outlook, but if you want something more legible, you can try (this is off the top of my head, so apologies if the font name isn't exactly right) sunday comics or letteromatic.

I also kinda like "Nightwatcher" . Thing is, if I used the lowercase letters it might be too visually jarring, but I don't know. I'll experiment and see.

EDIT: I tried Nightwatcher and hated the lower-case letters. I also tried "Straight Jacket" and it was good, but it was TOO different (I'll save it for possible use later). I think I'll stick with Evil Genius for now.

My two cents:
When the two personalities first started, only one was speaking per frame, and they alternated. There were also distinctive facial expressions and backgrounds. Thus, it was actually really easy to keep track of what was happening.

Thus, no font needed, no reason to think about it. Now that things have (in only 8 pages) become much more comfortable, and both are talking casually in the same frame, it's gotten murkier. Thus, the need for some sort text-box level distinction seems obvious in hind sights, even though it wasn't really needed when things started out.

I just finished putting in "text-box level distinction" on page 94, so we will have some starting on the next page!

Then it will be double-clear.
