The End of the Last Flower
A dark wind flows tonight. Upon the endless sky, I see her, Beauty comes to mind. Her skin the color of the evening sky, as it towards the sun. Her dress the color of tranquil spring. Her Shoes the color of the earth. It will be cold tonight, As I close the door tonight, I will dream of the last rose. Her beauty calls for me as I call for her eternal remembrance. - Shoraru Harajime

I feel free

This is no love song, I would only do that wrong.
This is no poem of grace, I've never been in that place. This ain't no sonnet with style, I haven't had that in quite a while. Why don't you spend a minute with me. All these years I've wandered, leaving pieces of me everywhere, I let the cares of my life hang and sway like my hair, No one ever knew my wandering soul, just a fraction of a man with no plan, A person with a perfect appearance, but a heart of pain, unexplained. Forget what you've heard, disregard what you know, This actor has found a whole new show. No matter what performance has perfect romance, power or strife, Nothing compares to the soliloquies of life. There's too much in the world that's bitter, I won't give up yet, I have a new found goal, No one will ever again call me a quitter, She helped me find a whole new role: Me. Jared Leigh.

Song lyrics that kinda just popped into my head.
As I close my eyes tonight, I thank God for this delight, And with angels in my sight, I dream in colors so bright... Through the Garden's gates I go, I see in flowers names I know, These are the seeds that I sowed, Giving care to make them grow... Now to the mountaintops I climb, Where the silence is sublime, And the slow passage of time, Becomes a blessing, not a crime... Down to the valley full of grain, Drenched in moonlight that had waned, To reveal all of the gain And erase all of the pain... In these lands so bright and true, Overhead the angels flew Protect it all, through and through, No darkness here, that I knew. I wake up to the new day, Happy to finally find the way To bring good news, and say The world will not fade to gray.

Just a random poem, ones I usually get after listening to a song.
I smile and laugh, you grin back Because hey, I'm fine I'm balancing perfectly On that tightrope line I run and sing, you finally notice Because hey, I'm alright Sitting there, thinking now Hours of sleepless nights I twirl and skip, you play along Because hey, I'm okay I will figure things out and make them go my way I trip and fall, but you don't notice Because hey, I'm all good You didn't see that part of me Because I didn't think you should. |

The Thunder Dragoon
|
From the works of Albertan Enlgish 30-1.
There once was a man named Davies, who one day found a wave of babies. He then felt ill, popped some prescriptioned pills, and later found out, he had rabies. As I told that to my teacher, he just looked at me ang laughed.

Cinderella

This was a scene in my writing and I thought it sucked but I put it down here anyway.
How to live: (A man in a business suite sits in front of a class of high school students) Exist only in a world they plan Forget the hopes and dreams of a child Exist only as their hopeless sham Forget the feelings that were truly wild Make your mind work to make this life effortless Soon the world will follow behind Make it though it may just be aimless Soon you may find out these hopes were not blind Try all you can to become what they want Its almost impossible yes we know Try again though cause soon this will seem nonchalant It’s simple to do once you know where to go It can create the world others crave Though it destroys the world you need It hurts so much, for what could not be saved (He looks up as though he has realized some thing then continues depressingly) But why work for others greed (He speaks again with anger now) Forget all I’ve said so far right now Everything I know is wrong Forget their world and I’ll show you how How I should’ve lived all along

Some really weird poems, just cause im sleepy and that i can and because i got 100 posts today...see? I'm rambling already. Anyways...
The problem with this is a soda can with lots of fizz can make your stomach feel funky just when you wre about to start being punky. Never mind the cazyness of the world it wouldn't change unless you did something really drastic like went and at the UN, hurled and then stood up and asked, "paper or plastic?" So I went and said to the guy, "What about birds make them fly?" He said that he didn't know, so i pushed him in the snow.

Nice to see this li'l influx of new poets. Keep up the good work, y'hear?
More early morning song lyrics. When I think of days gone by, And just how hard I tried, to protect you from harm, And when I held you in my arms The pain was miles away, With nothing left to say, But that it's all right, There's light after the night. And when I close my eyes, I realize Just what I did to you, So when it finally came, I gave you pain, And it all came unglued... So now it comes along, I sit and sing this song, To remind you and me, That there can still be Serenity... When I think of days gone by, And just how hard I tried, I see that you did care, So I offered up a prayer That forgiveness will come, From within and from above, So that you can come to me, For anything... (Spoken)Just like old times...

A mumbled muttered bumble
Still worse then they who fumble As we stumble throughout our day And like a shining kingly sight They come and turn out the light And send us about our own way Singing the sliding song Compressed but still too long Would convince us further to stay But the Timeless turning clock For closing the door and lock Keeps our joys fully at bay With a final tiny tear They rumble far too near And kindly lead us astray Yet hardly worth the cost These few who got lost For still there they do lay |

Hungry
Poetry is more than food for the soul, it acts like cookies for us, here at home, typing, typing, typing, until we get bored. Work, play, school, and other games, busy us with our everyday lives. You can't help but wonder, "What's it all worth." The cookie jar at home, will answer.
