He didn't, though. Ichigo did. Aizen was only alive due to the Hougyoku regenerating him, but then it decided that he was no longer worth the time, allowing the seal to activate. If Ichigo hadn't beaten him/he hadn't found another like himself, etc. other lolAizenwaslonely stuff, the seal wouldn't have worked -- that's why it hadn't activated yet. At least, that's how it read to me. Urahara was more cleaning up and containing than dealing the finishing blow.

And yet, ominous rumblings occur... who wants to bet the hollow's finally had enough of waiting now that Zangetsu's out of the picture? Or is there some last-second Hogyouku fuckery that's going to restore his powers? Supposedly, the Mugetsu technique is what caused Isshin to lose his powers 20 years ago... yet he got 'em back.

He either

A. Planned that he would be sealed and used his Shikai or Bankai to program a sleeper within the new/remaining central 46 to free him once he was token back.

or

B. The Aizen they were fighting was an arrancer clone of him self and that those bodies meyori found were failed attempts.

Ummm looks to me like it's just Aizen being completely and utterly restrained in what seems to be the Central 46 meeting room. You know, so he doesn't pull another stupidly rigged move. Also, didn't his Zanpaktou disintegrate when the Hogyokou rejected him? Sooo yeah I don't get what the big deal is.

He was sealed up and now he's not. It seems a bit weird that they'd just let him out. Also given everything that's happened. It's understandable for us to freak out a little.
