Marcus surveyed the destruction briefly before keying in to what everyone was discussing. He checked himself to make sure he wasn't wounded, and that his clothes were free of worm guts before addressing the group in general.

"I'll stay here and help with damage control," he said. "Make sure the kids are alright and all that jazz. I know our duty is to the Chosen but she should be safe at the manor, and the Light wouldn't forgive me if I just left without making sure these children are alright. It shouldn't take too long, plus I have my own vehicle so I'll meet up with everyone at the manor later."

Marcus walked back towards the kids herding out of the school. Some of them were pointing at the haz-mat tents, and a few were getting a little too close for comfort.

"Come on now, this way," Marcus called out to the kids. "Stay away from the tents unless you want your fingers to fall off. I'm not sure what the trouble is but tents like that are never a good sign."
