"I suppose he was good for something," Charlotte said about the Testament Drive as she passed Latios off to Lola. He hadn't given off a good first impression, but Charlotte wasn't in a position to be picky right now.
"Buck, hope your ready for another one," she said to the Arcanine, now released from his pokeball. "Open up a fire blast on the Heracross." Buck took a moment to process the situation and then sent an embargo of flames out on the Heracross. While she was giving out orders and Buck carried them out, she had also recalled Spitz from his position in the battle and replaced him with Pike, the Manetric. "Pike, take down the Vespiqueen with an Ice Fang, do as much damage as possible before going down." Pike paid little heed to his trainer's lack of faith, and jumped forward to sink his teeth into the foe. Charlotte, in the meantime had a steady glare lowered upon Harlitette. This girl was pushing in on Charlotte's territory. Charlotte would have ordered Buck to barbecue her like a Grumpig right there if the pokemon didn't take first priority of danger at the moment. She briefly cut away from her angry stare and took a scan of the room around her, trying to see if something that could be used as a weapon was available, because the girl may become a threat in and of herself. And Charlotte did not like the idea of threats lingering around. --- Buck uses fire blast on Heracross Recalls Spitz (Mightyena) for Pike (Manetric) Manetric uses Ice fang on Vespiqueen Charlotte contemplates murder |

Impact had been quite happy with their results this round. Two Narcham survived, but they didn't manage to Syncstrike, the Pulverot was asleep, and Chizuru (while her suffering was regrettable) could be healed. She was even starting some sort of ultimate attack, and while he wasn't sure what that was, he was sure that he wouldn't regret it being used. Of course, just when he was at his most hopeful, his expectations were dashed. "Dashed" meaning "cut to pieces by a destructive wave of Ruinous energy". He wasn't sure how he'd describe it, but "like having icicles pounded into your very soul" seemed about right. That Phantomere was a bitch. But there was time for self-pity later. Healing first. Then, orders.
"Matt, you're on a roll. Should be enough sleep for now, see if you can hit the weakened Narcham with a psychic move. It should go down. Rachel, have Registeel hit Cradily with a flash cannon, have Metagross hit Hitmonlee with psychic. If the Signature Sequence is enough to take those two down, redirect their attacks to Phantomere, or, if that's down as well, hit Omnisroth. Also, see if you can heal Chizuru without interfering with whatever she's doing. Pierce, Kingdra's more important than Metagross at the moment. See if you can heal it. Afterwards... Have Kingdra hit Phantomere with dragon pulse, and have Metagross follow up with a Meteor Mash. Let's take that fucker down. If it dies more quickly than expected, hit the Pulverot as well, please. I'll kill the full health Narcham. Chizuru, if you can hear me, if Phantomere's still standing when this is over, hit it please. It must die. If it isn't standing, could you prepare another Shadow Force for next turn? And, of course, heal if you can, everybody. We shouldn't take too much damage next turn, but I don't want to lose anyone." Following his own advice, he administered a full restore, then attacked the last full-health Narcham, Dragon Slave singing through the air. He liked this weapon. He'd been a gun guy until now, but he could definetly get used to sword-fighting. |

Despite not having been hit by Sinister Slash, Pierce winced. Damn, there Ruin Generals were bastards. He immediately grabbed his last Full Restore and applied it to Kingdra. Unfortunately, he couldn't heal Metagross, which meant it would likely go down when the enemies attacked. But if it was going down, it was going with a bang. That goddamn Ruin General had to die. "Kingdra, Draco Meteor! Metagross, good job, use Explosion!"
After Kingdra fired several meteors at Phantomere, Metagross approached him and began to glow, then exploded, focusing all the power of it's sacrifice onto Phantomere.

Matthias grimaced and stumbled slightly from the Phantomere's attack. It hurt like hell and he was more relieved than ever to have the regenerative effect from Chizuru's meal. Now wasn't the time to dwell on the pain though. This fight still was far from over.
Matthias focused on the weakened Narcham, as per Impact's orders, extending a hand shakily and focusing his mind on it. It wasn't what he wanted to do at this point, but his goal likely wouldn't fit into Impact's Plans. Psybeam. Out of the corner of his eye he kept an eye on the Phantomere. He just needed an opening and ideally one shot. With this many distractions around it shouldn't take too long for the Ruin General to find something shiny to look at. |
