I think she was always pretty self-righteous, short tempered and tended to overreact. That just wasn't much of a problem when we we're all cool with each other, seeing as everyone has flaws and people can still get together fine.

Does anyone know specifically what Dante was banned for?

I wasn't around when that one happened. (I can guess what it was generally for.)

I think it was because he was a self-righteous prick when it came to Roleplaying, but I'm a bit sketchy on the details myself.

I remember when Fifthfiend finally banned Joshelplex, 5 minutes later he ban dodged with the name Joshelplex is sorry and tried to apologize.

That was a good ban. So well deserved too.

I think it was a during a DnD discussion. Some 100-post user told him that a build of his didn't work. Said user was wrong, and Dante said so in no uncertain terms. Extremely insulting terms. Meister noticed said insults, banned him.

Joshelplex basically dug his own grave by hating on the French and hippies, and then applying the terms to basically anyone he didn't like. It took a long time, but eventually the mods just got sick of it and banned him.
