I beg your pardon Gem? ICT is up there. The rules for them and all that.
I thought Testament Drive was just the following A) Only legendary pokemon B) Choose one of the legendary pokemon's type C) Choose a target to attack (50 rage) D) Target recieves shitload of damage of that type. |

What? Wasn't this what you posted originally? And we amended it after a discussion, I'm sure you remember it, to be "Pokebrid can choose 4/8/12 elements, can use all attacks of these elements at Slayer strength. Pokebrid can switch elements as a Slayer would switch weapons". Or did we just agree on something completely different? And testament drives, yeah. Let's leave them as they are. |

Oh, that's just stating when the upgrade is given. The entire 4/8/12 thing is in their respective level slot of the template. And I made the agreement assuming that I wouldn't be able to switch the elements around. I mean, it doesn't make sense from the perspective I'm seeing it from.

Oh, really? Huh.
Fair enough. Though you're weakening yourself a bit, I think. I owe you one for your trainer actions. And at least we agree on the same thing. But if I were AB, and I looked at your upgrades, and I saw "ICT: Can use 4 elements (see conditional upgrades section below)", and I looked at the section and saw that, I would be thoroughly confused. So yeah, perhaps edit it to explain what's actually gonna be happening? |

Sure ok. Give me a sec.
But I don't see how you owe me for my trainer actions. ^^; And of course, if you think I'm weakening myself, you could give me more initial elements to start with, like 6 at level 1, 10 at level 4, and 14 at Overblade 2 or something like that. BTW, you recall that AB said that stat rearrangement is possible and allowed and that was one of the things you wanted Slayers to be able to do? I assume that was part of the setup we agreed on, since I mentioned it earlier several times? Basically, I would lower Special Attack to dump stat level, boost the other middling/lower stats closer to Slayer level and keep the high ones as they are without boosting them further. No, I mean since you're giving up on the ability to switch between elements during battle (which, earlier on, is gonna be pretty significant), you're weakening (nerfing) yourself voluntarily, for the sake of in-game-plausibility. Because a) I respect this and b) balance dictated no need for you to be further nerfed, I'm thinking you deserve to be balanced less stringently another time (probably when you finalize your trainer actions), so that your total power remains the same.
Capisce? Edit: Quote:

Hehehe. =P
Anyhow, I'm guessing I might save that "balance less stringently" for my pokebrid form and my moves. Just because you said not everything is finalized until you see and approve of those and everything still more or less hinges on those factors. Last edited by Menarker; 09-02-2010 at 01:39 AM. |
