A classmate told me of the 8-bit theater movies on newgrounds, I wanted to see more and ended up here.

I saw the 8-bit theater pre-loader in Legenary Frog's Choco-Robo mix movie and visited the site then. I never really got into the comic though until months later when CheshireThief said he liked it and directed me to the site. After reading the first 15 comics I kept coming back.

I decided to browse around online back at my desk job, landing here and reading all the comics. I re-read it a million times, and suddelny I was going to Penny Arcade too, and then I hit every online comic I could find.
Though I don't read the comic anymore, as my taste for it has kind of gone sour, I come to the forums regularly because it's one of the few that I can look at without sighing heavily and pressing page down to skip over the "omg wtf lol u r retardid!" posts.

8-bit theater is the best online comic that I have ever read, i've tried to ding others but nothing could beat this, A Modest Destiny comes close, but nothing can beat black mage and fighter, I got drawn into his series a year ago I guess, my brother showed me the flash versions on newgrounds.com and I've loved it ever since

A guy I knew on an FF site known as Glorious FF showed me it once in 2002, I only got really into it in 2003 though when I was bored, god I wish I got into it sooner!
And its because of 8bit Theatre that i got into comic making...not too bad at either! THANK YOU, BRIAN!!!

My reading 8BT is intrinsic to being. There is no possible universe in which A and B, where A is "I exist" and B is "I do not read 8BT" (the First Law of Webcomic-Dynamics). Therefore, finding this wonderful little webcomic at some point in my life was historically inevitable.
The above statement is my lame excuse for not remembering how the hell I found this thing in the first place. But damn, am I ever glad I did!
