Dragonsbane powered up all of the systems, the materia-like shell glowing faintly as it activated, then zooming out over the water....right over Thau and QQ's heads, its incredible speed making an immense wave behind it that washed over both of the soggy mages.

Eventually, CheshireThief got bored with DDR. He stopped playing and went to find something else to do. Seeing Jad and Dante on the mountaintop, he slowly began his trek up the mountain. Upon reaching the top, he found a chair and sat down.

"'Sup, fellas?"

Being drenched yet again, and worse, his ill-gotten chocolate being drenched with seawater, Thaumaturge was understandably annoyed. He watched the movements of DB's machine carefully for a while via a scrying crystal, then casted a spell, holding it back until just the right moment, then creating a wall of magical force millimetres from the front of the 'Mech.

"Not much, though it seems DB's been foolign around with his Anubis Mk 2 again..."

OOC: Geez, it happened AGAIN! Man, I just might have to come onto the forums more often...

IC: "Yes! I beat it! I beat FFI!" Cloud was dancing around (rather badly, I might add), celebrating that he had beaten FFI. Looking around, he noticed that the PS2 wasn't being used. "Heeeey! Time to play some Armored Core: Nexus!" Cloud sat down, pulled out his copy of the game, and started thrashing the arena mechs to bits.

OOC2: I just got it last night! YIPPEE!

OOC: ack, meant to avoid the chocolate, I would NOT ruin good chocolate!

IC: Dragonsbane pressed a button, humming the theme song from Megas XLR, and projecting an antimagic zone in front of the mech, dissipating the wall as he passed through. The wall reformed a few seconds after DB passed...but he was safe.

After a night's work, Socko's "special" mech came to life. As it marched out into the sun, the NPFer's stared in befuddlement as a Marauder with Ravens attached to the arms and cannons from a Rifleman attached to the legs marched out onto the beach. From the cockpit Socko could be heard shouting "Pachunk! Pachunk!", emulating the sound of a mech walking, which was strange because he was already in a mech that was walking VERY LOUDLY down the beach and into the water.

A speck was sen in the sky. It grew larger. The speck landed on Datne with an unfortunate splat. Anyone would be if hit by a large object at about Mach 5.

"You mean I was fired 75 metres from the 'Mech Hangar! IDIOT!" Drm hollered at the sky.Apparently unhurt and unaware of the fact he gibletized a lesbian succubus, he ran off to the 'Mech hangar, where a 70-ton Summoner(Thor to you InnerSphere freebirths) was waiting to be started up.
