Throw ability comes with a nice invisibility power, remember? Unless they broke out their incredibly weak magic, Sabin and Edgar can't hit what they can't see, and Shadow could down them before they could finish casting, anyway.

Ah, but Edgar has a cornucopia of Tools he can use, some of which pretty much blanket an area. For instance, he could use whatever one blows poison gas onto the field to do some damage and also reveal where Shadow is.

But could he do it before Shadow plants Atma Weapon in his chest from 30 yards away? I submit that he probably could not.

Question - does Shadow have to de-invisible himself to attack? Cause if so and he's fighting a Sabin-Edgar team then I don't know how he takes out one without getting waxed by the other.

I believe Edgar can actually equip Atma Weapon, can't he? Or am I totally messed up? I never actually finished.

Either way, after he pulls the trigger, psychedelic-colored gas is going to flood the field, which will make Shadow stick out like a sore thumb, anyway, for Sabin. I guess it would probably be way closer than I gave it credit for, but whatever.

Why would Edgar ever have it if Locke, Terra, or Celes would actually have a greater possibility of using it? Assuming the other three are dead by now, Shadow'd be more likely to have it in the inventory than Edgar would of having it equipped.

Because we're assuming everyone has equal access to everything to avoid anyone having an unfair advantage. And yes, I know that means that theoretically Shadow should have a personal copy to throw, but I'm also assuming there is only one and it's convenient for me, so nyeh! :p

Interceptor is a dog, not a Behemoth. Also, I found Blitz attacks to be relatively accurate, personally. One of them is going to connect eventually.

He's pretty clearly both.

Eventually, sure, if Sabin doesn't die first. I'll grant that Sabin's the better fighter, but Shadow is quite obviously the better killer.
