I was thinking Mars, and it's the remains of some of the junk Alpha Dave dumped in space.
Other than that I guess it's the Alpha Session version of the meteor.

Well, according to wikipedia Mars would still exist if our sun became a red giant. However, a Red Supergiant would end up something like this.

Plus there's whole Red Miles thing. It would be pretty impressive for an iteration of our universe to avoid the Miles for that long.

haaheehooAlright, so main Jane is dead, Jake is KO'd Roxy might be dead, although that depends entirely on whether that sequence was real, or just uu's imagining of what was about to happen, and Dream Dirk is KO's.

Only way this could be salvaged is if Dream Dirk somehow wakes up in time to kiss Jane and save her dreamself from sympathetic injury.
