Yesterday was a lot of fun. Not just that, but i also think was one of the busiest NPF nights i've ever seen, a lot of people around and everybody talking at the same time =P love it.

Do not be alarmed, this is only a test of the emergency system.

"We're doing this exact thing again in one month" or "Steam Autumn Sale"
At least, that was the Seil thread I was going to make, right before I remembered in my sleep deprived state that there's a giant Steam thread. Given the games of the past two months, does anybody even have any money or interest left to spend on sales to smaller/older titles? I thought no, but that changed after some browsing. My wishlist at the moment: Orcs Must Die Shogun 2 Rise of the Samurai DLC Sins of a Solar Empire Trinity Fallout DLC I've missed I'm a bit saddened they opted out of that "buy 6-12 copies of this one game!" thing this year. I rather enjoyed that. Though I think I was a minority. If it had been successful, they would have done it again, I guess. |

Sins of a Solar Empire has caught my attention a few times, but I never went for it. I might give it another look though. Although I did just get the Humble Bundle so I have Defcon to wrap my head around and I don't know if I can handle another strategy game.
Worst part: There is clearly going to be a goddamn Christmas sale next month too, or at least I'll be surprised if there isn't. Then they'll probably have a new-year sale in January, a Valentine sale in February, a St. Patrick sale in March, oh my god these sales are going to happen once a month aren't they... |
