just be walking through the forest or something, and see the group. Someone will notice you, and you'll be integrated in.

Join in however you want, I'll smooth it over with large amounts of quantum disbeliving. Or butter. Butter works too.
I don't think the snake's quite big enough for you to be inside it though.

Good! I thought we were never gonna obtain that title.
I think the D&D style is going to be more about the items/spells/stuff that's available and less so about the mechanics. Don't worry about that character sheet, 'less you just feel like posting. The picky game mechanics are bugging me, as they have a habit of making extra-really-fun stuff hard to do. Plus the, er, "plot" (gasp!) kind of directly affects said mechanics. A lot. ...I think I love this job.

I've been referring to the character submissions back in the signup for that - and I totally didn't bother to check if languages were listed.
Oh, wait - it's because we're not playing with specific stat scores, and languages known depends on your INT bonus. Shoot. My pride is refusing to let me say "alright, everybody go back and pick a few languages now", because it somehow thinks a big redo is the same as admitting I screwed up again. Please do it at some point. I'm not planning on sticking you guys in a situation where Lefeinish is your only survival-ticket any time soon, so there's little concern for abusing this. Just make sure it's semi-logical that you would know the languages you pick. Unlike D&D, where one either knows it 'completely' or 'not at all', I'll also allow people to know 'barely any', 'some', or 'most' of a language.

Instead of actually taking any languages beyond common, can I instead be able to speak languages at a proficiency relative to consecutive hours spent near a sentient who also speaks it, on the grounds that my demi-telepathic semi-empathic abilities would connect to the minds of the speakers and ease communication?
