Interestingly, on that article that shows the "evolution" of Evony ads, it shows the first one with that guy in platemail, before the boobs came into play, and later they show the ad that is simply a pair of breasts on an Oblivion forum or something. I could be wrong, but did they just lift the picture of the soldier from Oblivion?

Anyway does this mean that game ads should never have a pic of a female character in it, or else ever one will treat it as crap? I don't, as I was reading this thread. It felt like that's what you guys were pretty much stating.

I want to know before I start making the ad graphic for Mischief Knights.

It's more along the lines of how ridiculously blatant the Evony ads are about it. I'm looking at one right now and it barely even mentions what it's actually advertising.

No... it means that they shouldn't use a female character's supposed sexiness as the drawing point. They can have female character art so long as the point isn't "Hey look at this hot chick she's in our game play it."
