This one's been sitting on my computer for awhile, since before summer started. Trying to find meaning in my carefree summer days, I stumbled upon it and found a new reason to stay up late at night: make half baked comics! YAY! There's two more already in the works.

This is my first comic in a while, so bare with me.

This comic was made to celebrate the fact that I got a new hat yesterday, and it is badass. If I put on my trenchcoat with the hat on, I look like Van Helsing.

I've been messin' with this for a few weeks, just seeing how I could draw this in pencil only. I'm kinda stuck right now plot-wise, so right now I've only got about two full episodes done. Hopefully I'll work it out.

Anyway, even if I don't, here's part one: (Word of warning- my scanner sucks so the rain and some of the shading may not show up in some of the panels.)

Dunno if this is where it belongs- but it's a FANFIC about someone! =D A bit old but I dusted it off and thought it might be nice to share.


FANFIC BEGINS HERE ***********************


FenrisWolf sat in his prepping room, straightening his tie carefully. This was to be his greatest day, conducting an orchestra of the world's finest muscians for the UN. He carefully dabbed the sweat off his brow; the nervousness was giving him light butterflies in his stomach, but overall, he was steady. He heard a knock on the door, and someone called softly to him that it would soon be time for him to go out. He sighed and looked at himself in the mirror.

His suit was a dusty sky blue, with the ruffles down the chest; it was always his little joke to wear what his old friend Nikose had dared him to wear to his high school prom as his main suit when performing. He didn't even SEE Nikose anymore; they'd gone their own seperate ways eventually, saying hi on occasion online. It wasn't the greatest arrangement, but life is supposed to move on.

He sighed again; he should have gotten a haircut before the show. It looked all raggy and unkempt, no matter how he tried to brush it. He eventually gave up, and picked up a conductor's baton. He flexed, sighed, and began to go through the motions. Inside, he thought he'd be more excited than this. It just felt hollow for some reason.

He straightened his tails, and walked out into the light. A collection of the UN were seated, and from high balconies, people of importance had paid for tickets to come see as well. Each was inspected on his or her way through. He didn't glance around, and maintained a professional air and poise as he walked calmly to the podium. The theatre settled down, and he started it off quietly.

Suddenly, he felt something. The feeling of boredom, of hollowness vanished. He felt the music swaying up within him. He felt renewed the joy of it. He smiled as he conducted, letting some of his professional poise slip away; he let himself enjoy it, swaying slightly with the music. He brought them through high and low notes; he changed to tone and key on several occasions for the joy of hearing the music. Something had come over him, and he was charged with passion.

As he slowly let the music fade, he remembered why he started out in music to begin with; this selfsame joy he felt now. He heard the rumble of applause from behind him, and suddenly remembered he'd been performing in front of the most important people in the world. He turned, red faced, and bowed to them, embarressed slightly at losing himself to the music.

From up in the balcony, two figures began to head for the door.
"Honey, wasn't it a great show? Maybe they'll do an encore!"
"Nah. Fenris never liked encores, especially when he got it right the first time. Besides, I just wanted to see if he'd wear that dusty blue suit of his."
