Doesnt seem to me that it was a dream (what with Caliborn having seen it on his screens), but that Trickster mode was a temporary effect and it wore off and this is just a timeskip to the end of that.

Well Trickster Mode has always been a thing that didn't really exist within the world, but still existed from a fourth wall perspective, which is where Caliborn is. He's seeing the kids from the same perspective as the viewer or narration. So while Trickster Mode was a lollipop-induced drug haze adventure, we saw the whole thing, ergo Caliborn saw the whole thing.

Update pretty much says it was real.

I still don't think it's Hussie that's speaking with Caliborn, especially due to what the narrator says about Gamzee.

EDIT: Also DELICIOUS EX MACHINA for topic title, which is as good as a veto coming from me.
