Well, I got what I wanted, if only partially because it's explosion didn't happen because of lazerbeams from my eyes and a cool sword pose.

So...did Sumida survive? Or did the great flame...die in a great flame?

I'll post Nein's epilogue in a bit...but not now. I'm at the college place.

If'n you want I'll do another post that will put us with the town people. I probably should have added that already but I was curious to see if you had a few more dimes.

That's actually conclusion one of two, unless of course you deem it enough to stop there. I had been planning this little clincher for at least 10 or 15 posts.

Alas, we tried my friends, tried and failed. The total post count if Azisien and PyrosNine respond along with my final conclusion will put us three posts over.

Oh well. Not like we didn't have fun doing it.

(EDIT) All right, I'm done. Finished. Zip. No more long-winded expositions, I swear! Nathan's part is concluded. The sheriff part certainly came out of nowhere, so I had to integrate that in, and it turned out much longer than I expected. Anyway, I took way more liberty than I usually do in tying up that last plot arc. Sorry if I stepped on your toes, Mime. I figure if the Daimyo needed to figure out what happened in Low Hill in a possible sequel someday, they would be able to work out the events regardless of Nathan's attempts at cover up.

And thanks very much for running this RP, and to Pyros and Mintaro for participating, it's by far the most entertaining one I've been in for a LONG time, perhaps my all-time favourite. Nathan is now one of my favourite characters created here at NPF, and I'm very glad he had a great story to jump into.

The thread gets FIVE STARS and two thumbs up from Ebert and Azisien.

I can only hope for a sequel, sometime. But no pressure. *cocks magnum*

Mission Accomplished!

An actual factual completed NPF roleplay. And in one chapter no less.... though technically 1 or 2 posts more depending on your definition.

The Sheriff thing did kinda come outta nowhere, but it seemed to work so I went with it. I guess you could say, I felt like it.

As far as sequels though, my original intent was to do many self sustaining stories with returning chars here and there. But I kind of enjoyed this so much it will be hard to follow that up. But I do have to stick to my waiting list, so magnum or not, it will be a bit before Nathan rides again, though he will be homaged once or twice, as will Pyros... I mean Nine... er, PyrosNine....

....Nein.

Anyways, the Iron Horse I referenced for Nein's leaving is a plot line idea I had for one that would take place later. And what better place to set up a later storyline then a town smack dab between two warring factions.

Definately room for expansion all the chars here. Save for Rikki..... Poor poor Rikki.

Expect a sign-up for another New West adventure up soon, with the list of waiting RPers intact. I still can't believe people are in line for this, not that I mind!

Oh, I hadn't forgot the waiting list, I didn't expect Nathan to make an appearance anytime soon. Actually, I'd almost prefer he not be in the immediate sequel.

The whole premise though, I think it may have some real potential. I mean actually completing an RP around here is about as common as witnessing speciation...

Anyways, in the off chance there are no-shows for the sequel, I'll monitor it, and of course read it.

PS: I had honestly planned on using the magnum, it's his token weapon really. I was going to use it in a face-off against Rikki, but, well...that turned out differently too! I do like how it turned out though. More cards up the sleeve.
