i'm getting a vibe that 42 is in some conspiracy with KP, seriously, he was told to post so we'd know night was over. Or 42 is just a pawn to distract us from his real goal.

I dunno about that, seems a bit tenuous. Also, it looks like the shadow crept up to a town aligned role, and didn't kill it. Plus I've got a vibe that b_real's a townie. I'm also a little worried about POS's no mafia theory. It seems plausible, but it also seems like a dodge to get the town not thinking about the mob, so FOS:POS (hee hee that rhymes. fun to say.)

Are you kidding? It would make sense if you weren't a faplet regular, but you should know that KP and I are both there a ton. KP just told me to make a post because he didn't feel like bumping the thread.

Unless the PO doubles as a bodyguard, I think this means that the failed attacker was town aligned, and therefore the vig. Otherwise, why would they stop?

Because...

The inquistors were basically a secret police, who investigated "witches" with some very dubious methods (see: pin poking, lake throwing), including torturing old ladies until they confessed to being a witch.

And then killed them. Horribly.

So the Inquistion likely would represent townie special roles.

So a witch Coven would not want to call overt attention to themselves.

EDIT:

There's also the possibility that the Inquistor was the BG, and scaring away the witch/whatever represented protecting that person.
