Oh, and anime, too. Since it is, in fact, just cartoons. Ask any Japanese person.

I'd really hate to give it to any of these, but I'll say Cloud lost the least, with Gir losing just slightly more since I'm assuming he meant the Allmighty Tallest.
I mean, come on, not a Freakazoid or a major Invader ZIM character or a Homer Simpson in the bunch. And I've been informed that, in America, anime isn't generally lumped into the same category as "cartoon", as cartoons have a "for kids only" stigma attached to them and much anime that makes it to US shores isn't necessarily for children. However, this is merely only an American stigma that is not shared by the Japanese. Furthermore, because they don't have this stigma, their primetime television line-ups tend to have a great deal of animated programs, because something like, say, an episode of Full Metal Alchemist or Cowboy Bebop is cheaper to produce than an episode of Two and a Half Men while allowing for a medium to better tell a story with more interesting characters and settings. Anyway, yeah. Freakazoid, Pinky and the Brain, The Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Cartoon Planet, and both the Batman and Superman animated series all had characters that would have yielded better results, just to name a few off the top of my head without going after the Japanese stuff.
