So due to shenanigans, Super Monday Night Combat is now available to anyone and everyone on Steam. And it's free to play (with microtransactions for purely cosmetic stuff). So go download it now, because the game is amazing.

Also, to all you folks who have the game but didn't like playing it because it was "too hard" or "complicated" or had a "steep learning curve" or something silly like that, now (or at least in a few days when the official announcement hits) would be a great time to get back into it since there will be a much higher number of new players. So you won't be the only ones being terrible at the game

I didn't want to play it because I like MOBA games more from the standard MOBA perspective.

After playing SMNC I find standard MOBA games boring and slow-paced (with brief moments of excitement where everyone pushes all their buttons while singing I'll Make a Man Out of You) but to each their own.

If it hasn't been mentioned, Mount and Blade series is on sale for pretty cheap and I HIGHLY recommend. Dangerously addictive though.

I'm on a Sins of a Solar Empire kick right now. It will probably end up with me getting Rebellion. Anybody else play it?

I play it. But usually single player, it's difficult to get enough time for multiplayer games.

Yeah, standard Total War multiplayer rules must apply. Many sessions of saved game progress.

I'm not really that pro at RTS, usually playing pretty casually. But I love a good, giant fleet battle between capital ships.
