Also, I think the Hub network is running some sort of a contest where whatever tv series is voted for the most will have its own marathon run in the coming weeks. Right now I think they have Pinkie Pie up against Optimus Prime.

All I can think about after watching this episode is that we need to get Shyria to stop hoarding so she can turn back into her infant self.

I gotta say, as someone who's never been a huge fan of the way sitcoms and cartoons usually handle romantic tension and unrequited crushes, I was really, really pleasantly surprised with that latest episode.

(The last few episodes have also led me to appreciate Rarity much more than I used to, though I really hope Pinkie Pie and Fluttershy have a few of their own episodes soon because they've been overlooked.)

(...although, yeah, Twilight kind of got off easy -- introducing a dragon to Ponyville and all, knowing the basics of Dragon Puberty should be her responsibility if she's going to let him live with her in town, and it was somewhat ludicrous that the most booksmart pony apparently had no idea what was going on, given she's interacted with plenty of greedy, evil adult dragons before.)
