It would make a cool Title™
So, here we are again, with Loki’s Top 12.
(Would be “Loki’s Top 40”, as it sounds cooler but then we’d need more responses...) 12. Pants: I imagine it could be an interesting subject for others. I would be looking for specific aspects and usages of pants myself, (Such as "Pants, entering" or "Pants, how to wear them") but pants in general… 11. magic 101: If it actually worked like it did in books, I may consider it, but the 'real life' magic (Illusions, etc) just isn't as interesting to me anymore. 10. Firearms: Always interesting to learn about, but as far as being the next thing I wish to study, it’s not as high on my list. 9. Airplane! (s): I was looking for the next subject I wanted to learn about. My father is always talking to me about planes, and I know just enough to get myself in trouble. Unfortunately, lower on the list then others. 8. Complicated synchronization of realization in parallel worlds: I’m with madhatter on that one… :p 7. Love: Oooh… why am I all of the sudden thinking of early 80’s soft rock? Gah, now I have Foreigner stuck in my head! -50 DKP! Luckily Apeboy may save this with… 6. Women's Amateur Apartment Wrestling: See, now I don’t need to study #7… :p 5. Playing pool and not losing to girls: I know what you are talking about… um… uh… well… I don’t need to learn that I think, it’s more a matter of taking the game more seriously, which means less fun for me. That and I is out of practice. Oh, and easily distacted. So yesh, this may be closer to my next topic to study. 4. Robots/Artificial Intelligence: Now this is a really interesting one. I have kinda slacked on my whole study of science/logicish stuff lately, and this would be right up there, as my eventual goal is a BS Degree in Software Engineering, but… 3. Advanced quantum mechanics and theoretic physics: The moment my high school physics teacher started talking about that stuff I thought “Damn, if only I was a hair smarter, I’d go to school for that! Damn that’s cool!” As it is, it’s one of my favorite topics in science, and once I start reading about it, just about everything takes a back seat to it… oops, kinda got sidetracked… I should finish this list… 2. M.C. Escher: Thanks to a recent dream, I’ve been looking more at this guys works. I’ve seen a lot of his works on perspective, and it all is really interesting. (Even more fun 'cause the few times my coworkers noticed me looking at some of his works, they make some sort of complaint that it hurts their head…) More inspiration for me to pick my damn pencil back up… All were excellent, but I do believe my next topic of study (At least for the next month or so) is: 1. How To Not Screw Up Rad Guitar Solos: How did you get inside my head, and can you get out, it’s kinda full up there, I need the room! I was just remembering my guitar I had stored at my parents house, and how I should get back to goofing around with that. In fact, the only other person I had mentioned it to was my father, who reminded me of it not 2 days ago. I always wanted to get better at that! So now I return to searching my room for those hidden cameras/bugs... So, Mr. Bookworm, today, a winner is you! (1 other person (me) was asked this same question, and the survey said: A certain eastern language, Geography- Oceana and New England, Basic/Advanced Building Construction, How to draw better then a three year old, and a few other less interesting subjects…) |
