I finally watched the FFXIV trailer.

It looked way generic. There's no doubt this is FFXI-2. :/

Yeah, but I enjoyed my gametime with FFXI, so hopefully this will be FFXI: Better Version. Plus, I'll be playing it on PS3 instead of PC, so it won't control like a mildly retarded infant.

I don't have a problem against Final Fantasy Online, I'm just disappointed that from what was shown there's nothing to differentiate the title from XI. Each FF, regardless of your opinion of it, has a je ne sais quoi that makes it seem unique in comparison to the others.

I guess it is the art style that's not doing it for me.
