Hmm... the fact that neither of the Gossipers have denied B_real's allegations seems to make it clear, to me at least, that we have the correct information on all three of them. While I suppose B_real could be a non-town investigative role, it would be a serious jerk move on h4x's part to create a role that mod-confirms as something other than what it really is.

Factoring in that we now have two conflicting reports as to Dem's identity, lynching him will now definitively out at least one scum player.

Now we are presented with the interesting part that I so love.

Protection, betrayal, lies, and mass confusion. All standard fare, let's examine what we know as of now.

B_Real was basically a cop. Whether or not he just has a badge and nothing more is up to debate according to Barrel, but we're told he's good.

Ecurt is a gossip. Whether this means good or bad, he's told us Demetrius is bad. We've also learned there are more of them, a la masons.

Fenris demonstrates a brilliant way to determine what to do, and we all agree to follow suit. Now this is where things get interesting, as Fenris could either be demonstrating a good technique, or covering someone's ass. But that's not the point, because the gossips seem like they don't need each other except to hold a majority for a victory condition.

Cue bandwagon on Demetrius.

Now out comes Smarty McBarrel Hating Sycophant, claiming to be the investigator, claiming that Demetrius is good, a standard town. This not only raises questions as to why he would pick Demetrius, since this was all revealed today and "day" roles activate at the end of a day (I don't know what Intervals means, but I don't think it means whenever he damn well pleases), but also as to why he would be suspicious of 1 person who is the only town confirmation we have. He also decides to vote non-town, but he goes for the one that currently seems harmless.

I have just presented a summary of today. I now reveal my plans, barring something ABSOLUTELY CRAZY.

Voting Demetrius gets us the most information. Multiple pieces of information rest on Who Dem is, namely, if Ecurt has an ounce of trust, and whether BHS/Smarty McBarrelpants is claiming the truth or just a mafiate covering for another by throwing out a random claim.g

If Dem is Mafia, BHS/S McBarrel is CRIMINAL SCUM.
If Dem is standard Vanilla Townie, Ecurt and the ring of gossips cannot be trusted.
If Dem is something entirely different, For instance Cult or one of the crazy roles from the front page, we cannot trust either BHS or Ecurt.

As such, I keep my vote on Demetrius. If I have gotten anything wrong in my summary, please correct me, as I am only human and miss things sometimes.

Whoa now, I never gave out any information about townies. I only just found the two Gossipers and let them be known to all. Especially since they are NOT town aligned.

As for the claim? It was part of my role and I figured GM confirmation will be ALOT better than any claim I could have done.

And that would be why I didn't put the vote down on Dem myself. Cause I wasn't sure whether or not he could be trusted or not with his information let alone whether or not he was somehow in cahoots with the Mafia and having us kill a vengeful mafiate to get to me.

Also, I was rather interested in seeing what Dem's reaction would be to Ecurt's claim, whether he'd accept it or fight it. Now that really won't matter cause he'll just go with what you say. Now I'll have to investigate him tonight to make sure the true nature of his role (and whether or not you're lying Smarty).

Actually, 2 of them. We know Ecurt's and Moogle's. We still don't know Demetrius'. And I'm thinking if we kill Demetrius, we'll find out which of the two groups (Gossipers or Smarty) is telling the truth about him, let alone whether the Gossiper's get correct information when investigating or not. Then we'll also get confirmation on Smarty's role aswell.

Of course, I could just investigate one of them (Smarty or Dem) and let you all know how it goes from there while we kill one of the Gossipers today. Which seems to be the safest option available at the moment.
