if you have the burner, then you had the calvinball, which means i was able to take it, so it is currently in the bathroom next to the plunger.
which raises an interesting question: what the heck was arhra talking about, and what is floating in the middle of this sphere? also, where did the extra power necessary to make all spells inside the sphere go awry come from?

No I specificaly stole just the burner so that I could torch StabbityMage out of vengance. The calvinball was not connected. but if this does not work then I could be the fourth pillar, the good one.

I should do one in the Forgotten Realms, but I don't want my favorite campaign setting burned to the ground by our insanity.

I'd be willing to ref...some of the last Calvinball games haven't been too interesting for me, and it would be more fulfilling to referree if we don't swiftly return to the random-yet-fun nature of previous Calvinball games.
To the newcomers, don't make RaiRai angry. Spam and Godmoding make her enraged, and she won't let us bring Calvinball back again if she bans it this time. If you care about the game, try to follow the rules. If not, get out, and don't ruin it for the rest of us.

Well...since it seems like the ref idea has been generally accepted, now we have to decide what the ref can do.
For example, should we have levels of penalities? You know, "Minor God-Modding", "Major-God-Modding," and "Uber-god-modding" and the like? And what should the penalities be? Any suggestions?

I think that for minor godmodding the first time, i.e. declaring an effect for a relatively simple attack, you should be warned, but after that you should get yellow cards and red cards for cheating.
you can't post within three posts of the one in which you were given a yellow card, you are banned for two pages worth for the second yellow card, and the third turns into an automatic red which bans you for the game. Part of the next too if it was late in the game that it happened.

The ref should be able to godmod to an extent. He can make things appear or disappear without explanation, but can't get the calvinball or be biased or favor someone else. He can take people out of the game if they do something that violates the rules, too.

Plus no attacking the ref, I know that is a normal thing but the game is not exactly normal now is it. maybe it should be like freeze tag, if they try to god mod thaen the ref can freeze them until another player or the ref has decided that they can play nice again.
