I think when most people say build they are referring to stat and skill sets, not the equipment that accompanies them. Equipment enhances a build, but doesn't really change the overall play style, while stat and skill spreads do. Of course there are some equipments that can compliment builds by decreasing weaknesses like survivability or the ability to spike, but only a few items that really radically alter play style.
Also, you will very nearly always be able to improve a build with some piece of equipment you don't yet have. It's one of the reasons people keep playing games, but almost always stats and skills will have a cap on there potential, it ensures everyone has a level playing field to work from. So while you can always say "Needs more x." its not really going to change the build. Also, yes your build does suck edit: baglis whatever they day im able to tell you two apart is the day hell freezes over., real men don't use upgraded equipment or bother maxing characters. They are too busy getting drunk and making love to women (who may or may not be related to you in a maternal fashion) to do any of that.

Hell, instacast itself is a good example of this. I don't think it's possible to achieve instacast without at least one piece of gear that gives you dex, that doesn't include the use of gospel. And to be fair, having any kind of demihuman reduction gear at all is gonna change your playstyle. Specially if you're into hotswapping.

Its a shame. The full Instacast build through cast time reductions would be such an awesome build. 190 Int, high agi to get 183 aspd, rest in vit. Easy peezy.

The thing is when you talk about build for a lot of classes you are talking about Gear. For Wizards especially gear is basically the only determining factor that differentiates between us. Yes people have different skills but generally the stats and gear are what you are talking about when you ask a Wizard about his build.

@Tretyal, the reason I use Odins blessing is because I have so many characters its one armor that can be interchangeable, and I haven't been fortunate enough to get a valk armor, so I stuck with Odins.
And as for final build, I would rather have valk armor of course. As well have orleans and a sign for accesorys. And Firelock shoes(not a big concern to me because SP is decently high)

I see clone spammed snipers, bragi, and people to soak up damage and I immediately think "Pneuma and Meteors would mop that up REALLY fast" XD

My Builds
Because I'm bored, I'm gonna post my build, while retaining important sekrets (I did say I was bored, right?).
And this is my current SBK build on my Sin, made using advice that Fui himself gave me.
