Are we talking ALL Capcom?

Because I like me some clashes of the titans, and I think Dante and Nero would do a pretty damn good job against any ol' superhero.

Plus, what if Megaman had a really good player on his side? Because canonically I think he does, if he's expected to go through that craziness without dying once.

MK, though, I agree is screwed.

I doubt it. I mean sure, they'd do well and all, but when you start throwing in Green Lanterns, physical manifestations of God's (capital G) wrath, and guys who can punch planets into dust, DMC characters come up short. Capcom has better than them anyway, like Duo (Megaman 8), who's done stuff like punch his enemies so hard that they traveled light years in a matter of seconds. It's just that Capcom doesn't have ENOUGH guys like that to overcome the sheer volume of Marvel and DC characters who could do the same stuff. Hell, if she's having a good day, Wanda can probably decide that like 90% of the Capcom/MK types were never born, or that the Street Fighters got really into D&D instead of martial arts, or some other crap like that.

How about Simon Belmont vs Sunnydale? Simon gets teleported into the (or a) cemetery in the middle of the night with only his trusty whip. His objective is to destroy every supernatural evil thing in the city.

Do pretty well I reckon. The Belmonts whip probably counts as a divine weapon so he can hit Glory. Eventually she'll switch and he'll kill Ben. Only real threats I can see are if Dark Willow or invincible mode Mayor are out and about. Assuming that all the lesser monsters and vampires don't somehow organise and attack him in a pack(unlikely seeing as Buffyverse villains generally don't get along) he should probably win.

I'm basing my opinion on Richter Belmont BTW cause it's a been a long time since I played something with Simon. Simon didn't have the item breaks, or the really cool items right? He'd still probably win but he'd win harder with the crossmerangs, Grand Cross or the holy water storm.
