Now that I have a sprite sheet, I can start work on some comics, but first I need to know what font to use so that it shows up properly so that I don't have to do each letter by hand, and also I will need permissions for sprite sheets.

Right now I have a couple of gags in mind that don't require specific people, so the first few volunteers will be used.

Newb: You can use my sprite sheet if you like. Also as to the font...If I remeber correctly I used arial 10pt and it worked fine

You did pretty well for your first try, Newb.

However, it does need some work. The way you structured the comic, you could easily tell who was speaking, but it'd still be a good idea to draw in word bubbles/speech balloons. Also, be sure to find some other spritesheets and use that for gunshois, explosions, etc. since they're better than most done by hand.

Here's a page with guides that'll show you all the tricks of the trade.
