Here's the thing about Thiefs legs.

When he's standing, both his legs are together, so technically his legs should be at their widest then. Which is sad, because theyre not wide at all to begin with.

However, when he's kicking, his legs actually get wider kicking than when hes standing! That makes no sense. Also, this is what Im imagine Thief looks like below his ankles whenever im seeing him with those skinny legs:

I really changed very little in that picture. THIEF IS SHAPED LIKE A LAMP/GHOST! His legs mysteriously curve inwards, and never outwards until the feet, which you often never see because the comic cuts it off. He looks like a woman with those curves.

I really think

looks a tad better over all. Not much, but a little.

Yeah, well, that's what I think of whenever I see Thief now. Where his legs cut off is a measly 2 pixels (well, 2 standard 8bit sized pixels I mean) across, the smallest in 8bit history.

You know, it might have been funnier if fighter said the title quote. He always says that BM is his best friend. Believe it or not, Fighter is all BM has. He's the only one who doesn't hurt him on purpose. The only one who believes in his dream(conquering earth). And now...

Bah! Ninja Thief is wearing baggie pants, deal with it! Also, a weird thing about FF sprites is that I really don't think we *ARE* seeing only one leg at a time. If that were the case when walking the leg sprites would be more or less the same.

But instead, the legs are somewhat smaller, which is really obvious in any Yay poses that show both legs. So when a character is standing straight, its more like a fusion of both legs.

One last thing, even *IF* you somehow got Brian to switch Ninja Thief to using Thief-Thief's boots, there's no way I'm going to re-sprite all 16 poses that I've been working on for some time now. I enjoy spriting, but I don't enjoy it *THAT* much...

Well, considering I'm going to have to look at Thiefs new sprite for hundreds of comics to come, I'd just prefer it if I didnt have any peeves about it whenever I look at it. Sorry.

Also apparently Brian himself cares about the damn sprite seeing as how he changed the color. I'm not saying Brian should switch to the sprite I "made", nor do I expect him to. I'm just saying the way Thiefs legs curve inward is very unnatural looking. I mean, if his legs were nothing but skinny it would be one thing, but the V shape makes it just look awkward. Granted, making the legs go straight down doesn't look very good either, so I guess there's nothing to be done.

And his legs look fine while kicking, so maybe he should be in stuck in kicking mode.
