Not really. It could be that Karkat's seen English earlier or merely a case of mistaken identity, as it's possible that both Jack and English are simultaneously wrecking shit in the Trolls' session at that point.

Jack and English being one and the same is fairly nonsensical, what with Jack being an existing creation of SBURB rather than being summoned forth via the inevitable end of the universe and working his way backward through time.

Obviously they're not the same guy. It's time loop shenanigans. It just happens that this is the universe where Lord English was born, and also the one where he ended up after who-knows-how-long. Who knows exactly how it works out in the end. I'm just saying that if Karkat saw whatever he thinks he saw, it seems pretty darn likely that The Demon is Jack dosed with omnipotence and however many eons of eating universes.

So again, this is assuming that "The Demon" is Lord English, which it may well not be. However, it really seemed like that was the case when Aradia was talking about it before, and the fragmented conversation with Doc Scratch suggests that this was right.

Edit: Furthermore, Jack was created by the game to be the agent of a power that literally exists for the express purpose of stopping creation/destroying. Eating universes would be right up his alley.

It is possible, but I think very unlikely. The being who showed up to fuck them all over was called Lord English by the narrative, and Aradia (not knowing his name, I'd imagine) called it The Demon. In the fragmented chatlog, what little we see of Doc Scratch's dialogue (something like "it's not my place to...." in response to Aradia asking why he's there) suggests some deference to this being. Being an Agent of Lord English, it would make sense for him to react this way to his boss. Although I kinda think he might have plans of his own that HE doesn't even know about (incomplete omniscience).

Edit: Anyway, we'll get to find out eventually, but I'm fairly confident that Karkat at least has reason to believe the guy who blew up Prospit was Jack..

Edit: It could also be that Uber Jack never gets to the Alternia universe at all before going off universe eating. Aradia did say the two groups are on opposite ends of a Mobius Strip.

Actually, I think I get what Bit is trying to say. The Demon is summoned by the inevitable end of the universe, but technically that just means the end of the Trolls' universe, which could simply be a result of the completion of the SGRUB session. The players win, they go into their newly-created universe to rule as gods, and leave their old universe to eventually wither and die.

At that point, the ~ATH program comes into effect and Lord English is drawn into their universe from wherever he was before, which would in this scenario be the kids' session if English==Jack. This would actually make for something of an interesting twist, as it would mean that different versions of Jack Noir would have been the leaders of the opposing sides of the Midnight Crew interlude.
