Heart Gold and Soul Silver: Gold and Silver were the only two games of the whole series that really stood out while doing the same thing. Very excited.

Dragon Age: Awakening: As long as Bioware's recent fiasco with the Xbox Patch and Return to Ostagar aren't signs of what is to come.

Red Dead Redemption: This has me excited about the possibility of Rockstar moving towards Pirates or Ninjas next.

I mean the two delays, one of which happened in January and the only thing they had to say about it was "We hope to have it out in time for the holiday season" which is the most dick thing you could say in JANUARY. As well as the patch to fix Acheivements that actually fucked over your specializations, re-locking them completely everytime you turned the system off, and removing the manuals on some games completely.

It's enough to give me a week or two of pause when Awakenings drops to see if there are any serious issues that would make me have to start the game over again.

'Cause that's totally what I was talking about too.

The updates, I agree about, but then... I'd rather wait a bit longer for a good product than have a bug-ridden mess right now. (Not that the good update won't have bugs either, but at least nothing seriously crippling... I hope.)

This list is mostly what I speculate will release in 2010, as some of these games don't have release dates as of yet.

In no particular order:

1. Mass Effect 2: I can't fucking wait for this game to come out, as a fanboy of Bioware, I anticipate this to blow my mind.

2. Halo: Reach: While I'm not the biggest fan of Halo, it's still a solid game and this one will allow you to play on freaking Reach, so no doubt this'll be a bigg'n.

3. Starcraft II: This game will be huge just for that fact that every Korean has pre-ordered it already. And that it's fucking Starcraft, even with the shitty campaign split up it'll still destroy the charts.

4: Final Fantasy XIII: The longest (what it seems) in production Final Fantasy, and the new one for the current gen will look beautiful, sound beautiful, and hopefully, play beautifully.

5: World of Warcraft: Cataclysm: Yes, the expansion pack to WoW will make the top 5 just because anyone that has even heard of the game will probably pick it up just too see what changes and wish for a clean start.

Bioshock 2, just cause it's Bioshock.

God of War III, which is nice cause my roommate is getting a PS3 soon, so I can finally sink my teeth in some exclusive titles.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, because I want to see what Kojima can do to the Castlevania story to make it have more life than BELMONT FIGHTS DRACULA (Unless it's a Morris).

Halo: REACH because I want to see what they're doing to mix up the Halo formula. If it's "Jack Shit" you can etch this off my list.

Transformers: War on Cybertron. Do I have to explain it?

Also honorable mention - Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, because watching Noncon eviscerate his brain to be able to stomach this game's plot is going to be hilarious. Unless he makes me do it, then I'm going to hate myself.

It came out with it, but it wasn't part of it. The update came seperate. Extra annoyance was added on top of that, since it took them a day and a half after they found out the problem to remove the patch. I know they could have acted faster then that, because they got the RtO DLC pulled within 2 hours of the misfire.

Until I see more of it, I'm not. The focus on Samus' storyline seems to me like the developers completely missing the point about Metroid.
