Only reason I don't proof these is because (no offense to y'all or anything) I don't feel the need to on forums or other casual conversations so to say. But yea, I do need to work on that just a little :p
And I know it doesn't confine me to certain jobs or anything, but I'd like to get an education in what I will wind up doing :p

As a Comparative Literature/Pre-Med major, I also changed my majors a lot before deciding on a good combination. When chosing a major, think about whether you still want to be doing it 20-30 years from now. You don't want to wake up every morning not wanting to go to work and hating yourself for getting that degree.

As for the proofreading thing, it'll become second nature once you take composition classes. You'll eventually proofread everything, even your own notes you've scribbled down. Also, be prepared to do a lot of reading. Maybe not as much as me (I have to read 100 pages every 2 days or so), but you'll still have a hefty workload of reading and writing essays.

Good luck to you!

Thanx for all the input. Nah, proofreading doesn't scare me, just like most things in my life I'm too lazy to do it most of the time :p and originally I was planning on getting a lot more than a B.A in CSCI, but yea, I understand the code and all that, it's jsut I don't see the big picture anymore, like you I don't see why... so yea, I most likely will end up switching majors, and I've still got plenty of time to meet the pre-reqs, only second semester :p
