Aw, man. I was looking forward to Dragoon being a good straight man for the group and entering into some kind of crazy love triangle with White Mage.
Everything in the world happens to hurt Black Mage after all, so having some kind of protective boyfriend/husband impaling a crap out of him while White Mage beats him with her hammer is like double the fun. |

I honsetly don't think Dragoon is competent enough for the "protective older brother/boyfriend" routine. Its just unbecoming of him. So far I've noticed that their level of general intelligence....
1. Fighter 2.Sarda 3. White Mage (those 2 are interchangeable since white mage is god.. and so is sarda also...)?? 4. Thief 5. Red Mage 6. Black Mage 7. The real light warriors 8. Blackbelt 9. Dragoon 10. An ord eel 11. Fighter Dragoon is lower than Blackbelt, I think he is in no position to be given a new role in the story that would require intelligence of any kind. |

Dragoon is a slacker, he's doing nothing at all for the group. He's mooching off their EXP and now trying to get in on their "booty". Even though I am against Dragoon mooching off the party I can't let Thiefs' taking of the credit for Muffins' death go unchallenged. All thief did was almost die, and then watch as Muffin was some how slain from above. Although I do find Dragoons' hearing quite astute and should be rewarded with him some how surviving the immediate and almost certain death.

EDIT: I just realized this, but isn't dragoon an awful lot like Blackbelt? I'm aware that there is no chance he is Blackbelt in disguise or anything like that, but his character traits are almost identical. His failure to realize that Muffin was a dragon reminds me of Blackbelt's getting lost in a linear castle, and when he used Jump on Muffin it reminded me of when Blackbelt ripped Garland apart with his bare hands. Kind of an interesting thing to notice. Last edited by Pip Boy; 03-06-2008 at 01:36 PM. |

If dragoon leaped to avoid white mage, maybe she is the booty trap.
