Just be thankful that IHMN, or any other elitest Rper, didn't get here first.

And while I do agree that Dystopian Rhetoric could have been less the jerk and more the helpful Harriette, Stover did offer up some good advice to all of those here who are new to this.

Try to take all advice and criticism here with a grain of salt. It isn't always going to be constructive, or helpful, but it's the best your going to get.

I can understand where DR is coming from, though, its easy to get frustrated when you can't tell what someone is trying to say or do, and obviously has no experience running an RP....though I agree with Stover that the best way to gain this experience is by participating in a few RPs first.

Although you've posted a few times already, welcome to the boards first of all. You should probably check out the rules section if you haven't already just to get an idea on how we operate around these here parts.

As per your rp idea, you might want to rethink your idea or at least put some more thought into a backstory of somekind. Just throwing us a character sheet turns even the most elite of rpers away. Correct punctuation and grammar is a must here, mostly because you sound stupid when you say things like: "j00 r teh suck lolzrotfllmao" (not being mean, just being honest).

As many people have already suggested, it would probably be a good idea for you to try rping in other rps before you start one of your own, just to see what kind of players we have and how the system works.

The army of Huang Yao Shi grinds to a halt as to avoid wading through grass. That's for "common" armies. Much like Gao Hu's, who's invasion force reaches the border and sits in ambush for any fleeing units of Huang Yao Shi. In the grass. Cao Zhen, however, continues to follow the road, as grass is too green for his liking this time of year. You ain't got no K-Mart!
