MGS4 comes out and fails to push any more system sales in Japan and doesn't sell more than 2 million units (which would mean it didn't justify its production cost or make it worth its estimated value).

Hmm...suddenly 'dumbing' it down to 360 'standards' and reworking it into a new game titled 'MGS4: Guns of the Patriots Elite' doesn't look too bad to all involved on the money end of things... Especially those who were thinking this was one of the three 'games of this gen' (along with Halo 3 and Smash Bros Brawl).

If Smash Bros Brawl and Halo 3 are going to push 6, 8 or even 10+ Million units probably and MGS4 is going to be stuck at something like 1-3 Million because no one is buying a PS3, then the idea of porting it to the 360 is not as farfetched as you might believe. Although I agree. MGS4 looks to be the only game so far that is doing things that only the PS3 can do the other two systems can't. But seriously, its still only because of graphics which can be lowered for a 360 release and any 'sixais' support can be removed for, in my opinion, better support (I never thought the PSX controller was all that great and the fact that they've just copied it all the way to the PS3 with less than gimmick support because the Japanese worship it more than FF1 ports on Cell Phones is just sad).

MGS4 is still confirmed to be exclusive by Kojima himself, and he has stated he hates to port games, so if it was ever ported, it might not be by his team, which might mean it would suck.

I never really liked MGS, so it doesnt really impress or depress me, what I care more about is why suddenly Japan gives a shit about the 360.

Seriously guys, Devil May Cry *4* will never be available on PS3.

In regards to the Sonic in Brawl thing. I haven't heard anything about it from the actual site, and I don't give much credence to this because of the April Fool's thing about Sonic being in Melee. I think someone is just restarting that rumor out of cruelty.

I heard that someone was planning on doing a sequel to Duke Nukem 3D. That was like ten years ago, so it's got to be fake, right?

But an actual rumour I'm very interested in was the fact that according to some release schedules, Advance Wars DS 2 was supposed to come out in Europe before 2008. I haven't heard anything about it since, which makes me think it was a typo or something, but the likelihood of them not making another AW seems slim, so I'm not sure what to believe.

Duke Nukem Forever is an actual project, although the development team has been very secretive about it... for years. I read an interview in GI recently where one of the team members talked about how they'd become a joke of the industry... Which is true.

It's not every day you hear a Duke Nukem Forever joke. But I'll be damned if I've haven't heard at least a few, which makes no sense considering that I'm the only person I know who ever makes fun of Starcraft: Ghost.

I sincerely doubt that MGS4 will fail to sell any systems, it will at least sell a few, even if its only 1000, though I personally believe that it should be muliplat because its such an amazing series that not playing it is a sin of gaming, and of course, some people wont buy a PS3 for even MGS.

Wow... either it's still a joke, and a very long one, or they're still doing Duke Nukem. Man, they sure have a hella alot of patiance for that, and are comitted. Though Duke, if the picture holds true, looks mighty fine. That and I'm now expecting a PS3/360 release.

There was an article about it in GI a few months back, and a few months back wasn't April, so I can only assume the truth.

Still, I bet that before too long it'll be Starcraft: Ghost'd.
