This setting's basically been deliberately set up to seriously screw people over for killing without a very good reason. Vengeful ghosts, violent spirits formed from your actions, embittered siblings, people just not liking you, oh my.

I wanted a fairly light and cheery game, so yeah.

Although by giving everyone and everything crazy kung fu skills and ludicrous toughness, we get the unspoken assumption that it's fine to throw around some nasty attacks because you know they'll dodge/block.

Anyway, Weka obviously got taught that technique by a strange, scarred man with a tattooed right arm.

And God only knows what might happen if Gai hit someone with his Magical Tree Creating Punch.

Yun Sei is short and boring! Wrestling is hard!

Things are starting to draw to a close.

Magical counter attack!

I really have no idea if this will work. But, I had a feeling its one of those times where if it doesn't work the way I hope, it'll backfire spectacularly. The heat could either dispel, or react with, the cold (if not the dreaded third option!). I thought about pulling out my big light spell, but, it seemed to early to do something like that.

In any case, nothing ventured nothing gained!

Yeah in hindsight John does regret punching down the tree like he did. Though at this point he is kind of caught up in fighting and he would like to see the old man pass out so he can proclaim his victory and try to be nice again.

Ahh the unfortunate result of having very little idea of who your friends are. And that very little idea is Brownie.

Also, that post was almost mind numbingly complicated, but I had to compensate for getting the half nelson wrong in my head by switching it to a head and arm. If you don't want to stare at it then the summary is: If he does everything he is trying to do before the rake gets there means he wins through knock out. If he doesn't then Yun Sei can pummel him with rocks and probably gain the upper hand again.

When I say that people are tough, I don't mean that you can walk away from a direct hit from an attack that's been demonstrated to destroy boulders and disintegrate swords with nothing more than stinging and some pain.

I just mean it might not kill you.

Yeah, I figured as much. Cy just doesn't know how hurt he is yet. For all I know his abdomen might be gone. I didn't really know how hurt he'd be so I thought I'd leave that up to you.

If you don't like it I can change it, though.

It's fine Dracorian. Just a bit of miscommunication. I jumped to conclusions.

Hmm, decided the most entertaining option was weakening, with a minute or so of initial (near) paralysis. Cyrus'll be able to get around, but his agility will have taken a serious hit.

Was having trouble writing this post and then I realised I should have Cyrus fall on Weka and it all just came together.

I forgot to mention it before, but I found Rekkin's reaction hilarious since Gai was being completely sincere.

So slight question, from this position what is Yun Sei aiming to do? Sink John underground and bury him alive or is he trying to get a more favorable grappling position. Also where exactly is everybody's limbs right now so I react properly.

Wrestling is hard.

Also, could I get a confirmation that there is a running Weka who was crying, a fallen on Weka who was decomposing but not reconstructing, and two mini Wekas? Have I missed any?

That's correct, except there's more than two mini-Wekas. Just enough to make a little swarm.

A little from column A, a little from Column B. Naturally, if he can leaves a limb or two of John's stuck in the earth, it'll give him an advantage and with the threat of sinking him entirely, it puts more pressure on John.

When the going gets tough, the tough start cheating.

John stuck his left arm under Yun Sei's right and was trying to move it through to allow a headlock. Now both arms are sinking, Yun Sei's using his legs in a sort of scissor move to help force 'em rotating. Outside of that, nothing's changed.

Grappling is hard.
