Yeah, i'm sorry. I guess i'll just try to avoid Bush threads in the future. I end up saying things like this.

Might be a good idea. These days I only stop by them, myself, to see if it's erupted into something that needs closing yet (as they are apt to do), and I agree with the Bush-hating majority. It's just a topic that's been beaten to death and that people get worked up over because the people who dislike this president REALLY dislike him, which, understandably, makes the people who like him get defensive.

Also: Oster, there's as many grammar mistakes in the non-Bush quotes as in the quotes themselves in that translation. Mind cleaning it up a bit so I can more easily tell where Bush is being, well, Bush, and where the translation is just poor?

Bush says funny things. I have a collection of coasters with his funniest quotes on them. I read them and laugh.

Of course...it's really just a clever ploy to make people think he's an idiot. You've probably heard that thick accent, right? He was born in the Northeastern US. He was raised there. He went to Yale. He's not a real cowboy...he just plays one. It's a mind-trick worthy of BMG!

So...he is funny, but his wife is funnier. Heard some of the jokes she made on the Daily Show, and couldn't help snickering at them. However, she did humanize Lynn Cheney, and that's just wrong.

I heard a radio article that said that Bush only did his "bushisms" when he was talking about peacefull matters, IE "I think it is important that you put food on your family". However, he becomes a lot more eloquent when he starts talking about how he wants to invade/bomb somewhere.
I don't have the source with me, so I could be wrong.

Sorry, but I'm not better at this. Not to mention that I had to use some of the wierdest words... I'll look a bit at the article, but I can't promise too much.

What's REALLY funny is that he now has all of these terrorist groups that hate him, and he almost choked on a pretzel. WMD's can't touch him but a pretzel is what almost killed him. -_-
