Sean grabs his coat and starts to head out. Just then he heard a lot of commotion down the hall near the labs. Against his better judgement he made his way down the corridor to see what was happening.

Cautiously he peered around the corner. Sean took in the most horrific sight he's ever seen. Bodies layed scattered on the ground soaked in blood. He pulled on his gun with an unsteady hand. Slowly he walked over a few bodies picking up a second gun and some ammo clips from a dead guard and tucking it away in his pants. Sean was becoming very unnerved.

Sean then thought this is not the best place to be and started to make his way back. Suddenly a monster crashed through a doorway and slammed him up against the wall. Panic stricken, Sean fire two shoots striking the creature but doing nothing in the way of stopping him. Thinking quickly he fired a shoot at a fire extinguisher on the wall which spewed out at the creature giving Sean time to stumble to his feet and start a mad dash down the hallway. He couldn't go towards the elevators because the creatures blocked the way. So he ran through the door to the emergencey stairs and started to climb the stairway for his life.

Relieved that he wasn't the only one still alive Nick smiled. You two are Alex and Vincent right? Man I am glad to see you. Listen we have to get word out and warn everyone in the upper portions of the base. This is a very bad situation. Luckily the elevator isn't damaged..." Before Nick could finish his sentence the elevator came to a screeching stop and refused to move anymore. "Me and my big mouth. Looks like we'll be using the emergency ladder..."

Vincent ignored Nick and blew open the top of the elevator with his grenade launcher. "You two should run. You're more important to this project than myself." He shot a hole into the top of the elevator and they all went up. He motioned for them to hold on to the cable as he pulled the pin on grenade and dropped it into the elevator. Vincent grabbed Alex's pistol and shot the cable several times, causing the elevator to plummet downwards toward the research labs. The three of them were taken up, and the reached an elevator door, where Vincent blew open a hole with his grenade launcher. He handed the pistol back to Alex and jumped out of the hole. He shot another creature and ran down the hall, yelling orders. "Ready more grenade launchers! Get a fuckin' tank if you have to!"

As Hawk was trying to catch up with Vincent, He noticed Sean running up the stair ways, Hawk started to ask him what was wrong when he noticed the monster following Sean. Knowing he didn't have time to aim his rifle Hawk pulled out his pistol and started firing on the monster. After unloading a clip on the monster it finally stoped moving.

Breathing heavily Sean let out "Oh shit that was close, Thank you Hawk. That thing almost had me. This place place is crawling with these things we have to go!"

"Just doing my job" Hawk says quickly, "If i remember the layout correctly there is an elevator near here, we could probably take that and get out of this place" With that Hawk starts to move towards the elevator.

Alex glances at Nick, "God that guy's a maniac. He just fired two grenades point blank...POINT BLANK! He could've killed us both without the monsters having to do any work." Looking down the hall to make sure there were no more of the hideous creatures Alex adds, "Lets go, if we meet any more of those things I want to have that guys grenades with us." With that he sprints off down the hall, pistol ready, following Vincent.

Timothy followed Alex and Vincent remarking "Would now be a bad time to tell you I'm scared of lifts? Nice looking creture though, reminds me of my grandmother." Timothy put his knife back his pocket and stopped to think, his mind distracted by a historical problem.

Not wanting to be left behind Nick ran to catch up with his team. When he caught up with them there was several new people Nick only new through Med files. Puzzled as to why everyone was just standing there Nick quickly noticed that the only elevator to the upper five floors of the compound was completely ruined. It looked as if someone had thrown a grenade in there in defense. Nick looked at Vincent acusingly. "Hey wasn't me..."said Vincent rather defensively.

"Well let's get to the emegency access shaft, cause this thing is fried."

Vincent and the rest of the Delta Force who'd been assigned here started to push the creatures back with machine guns and grenades. "Delta Force, come with me!" Six at a time, the members of Delta Force leapt into the elevator shaft and, to the amazement of the nearby researchers, began climbing. They soon reached the top floor and blew open the door, leaping out and running to assist the researchers.
