Might need to pop over to a friend's to borrow a cup of internet. Or your church might help. If the public library will let you download three gigs and plug in a usb drive, that's also an option.

You don't need to download it on the computer it's going to be installed on, if that's the issue. You're making a boot disc; it needs to be on removable media so you can boot from it.

Just heads up - Be careful sticking your USB drive into random public computers. That's how ~~STDs~~ icky malware gets spread.

Even after I learned, grew up, and came to be on the right side of a lot of important issues, I was still angry, abrasive, and generally increased the amount of hate in the world, in pretty unacceptable ways.
